What happened to the guy who was meant to be working on the OL in Madden like 2 years ago? -

Is there anywhere online with a link to this interview? I'd like to hear it.Comment

Re: Bob Wylie working on O-Line Play for Madden 14
Is he coming in for a brief consult, or is he REALLY coming in to work on the game... you know be a guy throughout the process that looks over every build, every video and points out what's right and wrong, because they have real life coaches come in every year.
A few years ago, when they re-did the run blocking, they had the late Mike Heimerdinger come in and look at how the zone concepts were coming together, they had Brad Childress in this year, at one point Mike Smith, and I wanna say Mike Pettine took a look at the defense."A man can only be beaten in two ways: if he gives up, or if he dies."Comment

Re: Bob Wylie working on O-Line Play for Madden 14
And who is gonna talk about and work on defensive line; run fits; pass rush techniques for DE's and OLB's. Who's gonna come in and work on blitzing? Rex Ryan was there a few years ago ...
Let's balance it out.Comment

I love hearing stuff like this. I feel like I will be able to enjoy M13 with CC, since I was able to tolerate M07 with Live Opponent but M14 seems like it will "the year".
I hope so.Comment

One thing you guys need to learn about Madden especially the younger guys here mid teens, is to not believe anything about whats going on with Madden until you play it or get actual review from people who have played the real game. Every year we hear about some real NFL "guy" consulting on this or working on that. Bottom line is, alot of what they think is good may not be unless they are real gamers. A good friend of mine is a football coach and is blown away how Madden looks and plays but he isnt a gamer so when he watches it he isnt nitpicking OLine play or DB/WR interactions. The things that would set off an alarm to him as good football in real life arent the same that would be in a videogame. So unless they bring guys in that are gamers as well as football geniuses then it will be for nothing.Comment

Wouldn't somebody who actually plays or coaches football be the type of person that immediately recognizes what is wrong with certain things like that? I would imagine they would be the first people that would look at something like OL/DL interaction and say 'Okay, that's not a good representation'.Proud Beta tester for NFL 2K Dreamcast
