    Converting Position Players

In Franchise mode, is it possible to convert position players into other positions?

    For example,
I drafted a solid SS, and want to move my current SS to 2B. Is there a way to "train" him to play 2B so it shows up in his secondary positions?

Go to the player edit screen and change his position to 2B. You can also change his secondary position.
    MLB: Seattle Mariners
    NFL: Seattle Seahawks
    NCAA: Washington State Cougars

Bleh. Using the Edit Player screen makes me feel like I'm cheating.

      Oh well. Thank you!

I usually do it during the offseason and then edit his fielding down 15 and his reaction down10 until the asb the give 5 of it back every month end after that til whole again unless its a major move then I wait til the off season again. Plus I never move guys to positions they couldn't hang with I.e. moving a 1b to SS or something like that. This makes me feel legit since just about any majors guy should be able to learn close positions
