Each gamertag will have it's own separate CC. The only way to play the CC against each other in a franchise would be online where (on the xbox 360) each will need it's own online pass code. You can not play a h2h franchise on one console. The first gamertag would have to sign out in order for the next to play their CC. I don't know if you can play a CC game with 2 players on the same team, but I am certain you cannot create more than one player/coach per CC.

Thanks for the response. The bold part is what I was worried about. If there's no way to play any of the games against each other it's not worth the extra money IMO.Each gamertag will have it's own separate CC. How do we know those aren't on their list of action items for M14 and M15? Like they said, they don't want to implement things until they verify that they work properly, and features like those would take considerably more time to design, program, and test than the Twitter feed. Such a simple change, but makes the game mode much more immersive already. It makes a lot of sense that they would lead off with that one, especially in the Twitter age.I get they wanted to "improve dynasty mode". But fake tweetsis the way they do that? They have precedent formulas they can look back upon for inspiration. How about half-time highlights of the game being played and others? How about post-game interviews? How about a weekly wrap-up show with video highlights of games?Comment

Re: Sound Off: Has the 'Closed' Nature of Connected Careers Turned You Away?
The tweets is nothing. It is no different than the headlines or tickers in previous Madden games. But you have to be kidding about the half baked stuff. Madden 12 franchise mode is AWFUL! I would hope that there is no way that CCM is worse.I can't understand the mindset of these Madden developers. They act like CC is the greatest gift in the world. I want to know who sat around that boardroom table and actually thought it would be a good idea to take out player editing, custom rosters, NCAA import so that they could introduce a half-baked new CC mode that no one asked for anyway?

Re: Sound Off: Has the 'Closed' Nature of Connected Careers Turned You Away?
It depends on how you play. If you enjoyed importing classes, editing players, and playing couch co-op, like I did, then it's entirely possible you won't enjoy CCM as much as Franchise mode.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if CCM is an overall improvement over Franchise, but since I'm going to be forced to play all the games by myself I probably won't play it nearly as much. I've never been able to get into playing a solo Franchise I always get bored a few years in, but I used to finish several seasons playing couch co-op.
Long term I think CCM could be an excellent mode, I just hope EA doesn't make us wait too long before they add the M12 offline Franchise features.Comment

You might not get bored playing a solo franchise with the new CCM as you did with the boring franchise modes of the past.

If the CC cake were "fully-baked", it wouldn't be missing delicious key ingredients like custom rosters, editing players and NCAA importing. CC is indeed "half baked".Comment

Re: Sound Off: Has the 'Closed' Nature of Connected Careers Turned You Away?
To continue with the cake analogies, what would that make M12's franchise? "Fully-baked" but with zero taste?Comment

Re: Sound Off: Has the 'Closed' Nature of Connected Careers Turned You Away?
I didn't defend the previous Madden franchise mode. It is boring. Having said that, I do not believe that a half-baked CC mode is any improvement whatsoever. I won't be buying the new cake until it includes more of the important ingredients that people are used to. Luckily, I never bought Madden 12, so at $11 from Amazon, it will be good for a while. But frankly, I'll probably still be spending most of my time playing another football game that did indeed have an awesome franchise mode 8 years ago.Comment

Re: Sound Off: Has the 'Closed' Nature of Connected Careers Turned You Away?
I agree, previous versions of offline franchise were boring, but only because it lacked in the areas that other games did so well, like halftime/weekly wrap up shows with highlights. I never thought anyone would consider a fake twitter feed (or even a real one) immersive (Social media...ugh next year there will be fake facebook and instagram j/k). I don't know how CC (offline) is supposed to be better.I didn't defend the previous Madden franchise mode. It is boring. See, this is what starts crap, Tre.
Putting people down because they feel Twitter feeds is immersive or similar to Bruno or news headlines in past Maddens.
No need for that.Comment

Re: Sound Off: Has the 'Closed' Nature of Connected Careers Turned You Away?
How is that a put down?
It's like saying "I don't see how people watch reality tv"...I'm not putting anyone down. I didn't call anyone a name, say they were silly... nothing. Heck, my wife and daughter spend every available moment on facebook and twitter, me I don't see the appeal...that's just me. I'm not putting anyone down who does.

I'm just telling you, reading that on a message board sounded condescending, that's how I took it. I never said you called anyone a name, just lumped everyone together. How is that a put down?

Re: Sound Off: Has the 'Closed' Nature of Connected Careers Turned You Away?
I certainly didn't take it as "condescending" or "lumping / generalization".
An example of "condescending" would've been something like:
"Anyone who considers a fake twitter feed (or even a real one) immersive is obviously not a true sim player"
and an example of "lumping / generalization" would be something like:
"All gamers who consider a fake twitter feed (or even a real one) immersive are dummies"
Please note that I do not believe either of the above. I only wrote them as examples, to help prove my point.Comment

I did say there was a misunderstanding.
Is there something else I missed?
