I hear you, man. My offline play has diminished each year since NHL08, which was the last time I completed a full season w/o simming (I lost in game 7 of the Finals!
). Sure a good chunk of that is from the rise of OTP, but if the offline game was compelling enough, I'd find the time to play both.
With that being said, from what I've heard from those who played the early build(s), things are most definitely heading in the right direction. I also recently heard some good news about pass reception and puck control. Obviously there's lots of time for tuning/balancing the game prior to release, so let's keep our fingers crossed.
