Skipping your 5th starter after an off-day

I searched all over for this but couldn't find anything, the last few years, playing each version, everytime I wanted to skip my 5th starter after having an off-day and going with my #1 guy all I did was remove the 5th guy from my rotation and put him in bullpen and the game automatically went right to the #1 for the next game, I then simply put the guy back in the rotation for his next turn and the game would then follow the rotation from the top down.

I did this in this years game but, I played a game with my #1 starter, then simmed the next game and it started him again instead of going to my #2 starter, anyone figure anything out about this?

Seems petty, I'm aware but it was so nice to be able to skip your 5th guy and not have to worry about fixing your rotation all the time to make sure the proper guys are starting when you want them too.

    Thanks!!

Honestly, I didn't even know this worked in previous games. LOL! I'm always shuffling!

    What can I say, I'm a shuffler.

rworth88, did you see this thread: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-playoffs.html

See post #3. ktd1976 says he's used a 4-man rotation succesfully in the regular season in this year's game.

        If I were you, I would change the positions of the pitchers. Instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.. I would make it 5, 1, 2, 3, 4. Hope that makes sense.

Could always just play the game so you can choose your starter and then sim to the end once you're in-game. A little bit of an annoyance but it will work.
