2 Amazon pre-orders ?'s for those who did this before

I have 2 quick questions for those who have done the Amazon pre-orders before on games 1) Since the game is released next Tues, what day do they normally take the money out the account? & 2) I know it says release date delivery, is that pretty accurate? This is my first time doing this so I just wanted to know. 45 bucks was a deal IMO for this.

Amazon doesn't charge you until the item is shipped.

So if you see a charge on your account then your item already shipped.

Also release day shipping is legit.

Buy almost all of my games off of Amazon.

They charge you once the game has shipped, and I have never had a problem of not getting a game on release date.

To echo all the other responses, games I order off Amazon with release date delivery are always waiting for me in my mailbox when I get home from work that day.

Pretty awesome.

Amazon is very good when it comes to delivering orders on time. The only time I didn't get a game on the release day was because of a hurricane.

Is there any differences between the two day shipping –get iton release day or the on day shipping –get it on release day through amazon.

Reading this posts, I kind of feel safe about my pre-order. (first timer)
Last time I pre-order a game through online, (NCAA '09 from GameStop) I actually got it a day early.

Have done release day shipping on all my games from amazon for the past few years.... always at my door sometime that afternoon.

Usually in my experience the money comes out Friday evening and the game is at your house Tuesday. Some people I know have gotten it on Monday though. I never have. I've also ordered about 25 games in the past few years from Amazon and never had one miss release date delivery so I think any worries there should be eliminated.

I did the same-day last year and it came about 6 p.m. PT -- I was sweating it after about 4 p.m.

This year I did the Amazon Prime freebie tryout, and selected two-day, which is free if you do the tryout. The estimated delivery date is the 10th.

I am doing the Amazon thing too for the first time, so all these confirmations of it being legit are good to hear!

I now see no reason why it's not at my door when I get home from work next Tuesday.
