Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi sold his team.
On a rainy afternoon Stars owner Tom Gaglardi had a special visit. The guests spotted at his mansion, were unknown to the journalists who where on the hunt for a story. A few hours later Gaglardi announced the selling of his Stars franchise. Gaglardi bought the club with the intension of making it a dynasty, that will be a Stanley Cup finalist on a yearly basis. But after a few economic failures and some IRS problems, he was forced to sell his baby.
After a short search there were some Dutch cowboy friends that were interested in the franchise. The Orange Investing Group bought the Dallas Stars and assured the future of this franchise. This group named sir Pieter van Vollenhoven as the new Governor. This Dutch royal manager always was a big fan of the NHL and hockey.
It was not long ago Gaglardi was the new messiah of the Dallas Stars, but in the land of cowboys and opportunists everything is for sale. There is a new saloon boss and we hope a winning tune will be played there.
