The Heat will still be the best team. The Lakers will be a lot better with Nash running the point than they were in 2012 with Fisher and than Sessions.

I m a laker fan but we will not , okc is still the favorites in west.. we need to have a deeper bench and better 3 pt shooters which were our 2 of the biggest weakness last year but i m sure mitch has somthing under his sleeve and will do something and again bynum for dwight might happen which will definetly make them the favorites hes a better pick and roll player than bynum and will help with defense alot

IMO Lakers should move Pau Gasol for a younger PF maybe Josh Smith?? Also they need change on SF position I liked idea to bring Beasley (maybe he will sign with Phoenix) but today I read that Nash want to bring Grant Hill also to Lakers. Second important thing for me is a bench depth for better rotation.

I think the Lakers are certainly in the discussion for top 3 teams next year. But it all relies on how much four of the five fall off this offseason. Can Brown rest them periodically. Can Bynum stay healthy. Nash might be able to ignite Gasol and get him going again. The interesting dynamic is going to be how Kobe deals with not dominating the ball as much. Clearly, this Lakers team should let Nash be the ignitor late in clutch situations, but Kobe won't like that.

Lakers are in the conversation for a title run but still have some moves to make. They need to improve the bench and re-sign Jordan Hill. I think it's also time to move Gasol and his contract hopefully for Josh Smith. I still think the Lakers need to continue to look at the Dwight Howard trade. They do need an athletic big man and having two would really help.

If they can get Grant Hill then its a competition until then they still have a major flaw at the 3. Metta isn't as good at defense as he used to be and his offensive game has obviously gone down. Speaking of 3pt shooters I think Andrew Gouldelock will come on as a good role player.

Becasue of the obvious need, LA LA land was a prime destination for my NBA2K12 MP point guard. Guess I will have to look elsewhere now for 2k13. Maybe CP3 will head to NY and open up a spot on the Clippers.

Hey now, Smush was a classic "crappy in real life, great in 2k" player! He was automatic from 3 in 2k7.

And Laker fans "deserve" nothing, try being a Raptors fan.
