I used to be anti Twitter but i jumped on board and must admit it's addicting. Every celeb uses it, every news outlet uses it. It's basically the quickest way to get breaking news and it's a pretty cool way to interact with celebs because lots of celebs do use it to communicate back & forth with fans.

My bad thought it was just in general not lesser known, in that case probably beat reporters

          Jim Rome

So I saw Michael Young posted a twitter thread asking "which lesser known personalities would we like to see included in the CC twitter feed in the future? and while he isn't lesser known obviously I would love to see the king of daytime sports talk radio Jim Rome included in the twitter feed in the future.

Although I totally realize this would be hard to do now that he's no longer with ESPN

Would anybody else like to see Van Smack in a future Madden CC twitter feed? do you think it could ever realistically happen?

While he is the pinnacle of annoying, it would be nice to see Rome. Especially seeing as we already have "Mr Tim Tebow is everything!"

Twitter was valued at $8.4 Billion in December 2011. It is not going anywhere anytime soon, so get used to it.

To the topic: beat writers are good. In addition to that: how about Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk as an additional news source? Stephen A. Smith to spar with Skip Bayless? Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay to spar over draft prospects? Trent Dilfer to specifically break down different quarterbacks? Steve_OS, just because?

Another cool idea would be if you could tweet at your league's linked Twitter account and then have those tweets show up in the game. That way anyone playing within an online CCM could see communication and trash talk through the game.

This is pretty much why I was saying it probably should have been something connected to the online dynasty website, but as far as in the game, just a means of showing those things via a tap-in menu (but only if you're logged online, of course). It seems they could have done so much more with it in terms of the immersion they speak of compared to having just the disc based algorithim/program.

I mean, as annoying as anyone can be on twitter, imagine your buddies being able to smack talk you and it showing up on your game.
I'm still playing NCAA 14 and Madden 25...and you know, it's alright.

Boo hoo. It adds immersion to a mode that people wanted immersion in. Yes gameplay is a priority, but if Franchise mode sucks, a lot of people won't play Madden. They go hand in hand

Haters and Fanatics talking about their teams good and bad moves... Make up some twitter names (or have OSers supply their own) and then let them give praise to every move or hate on everything.

Rob Lowe should be in and he should only post false rumors.

Not a fan of the twitter feature however, an official team feed that could be personally created by the player would be nice.

I think having the generic database would be cool so that the feature remains used in an offline CCM, but allow the player to override the feed with their own custom remark about a transaction, game, award etc (Also, if implemented the Commissioner should have the ability to edit for content control. I would not want somebody beating the censors, having to boot them and then me not being able to remove, or edit it).

Yea because some bogus "twitter" handle makes me feel "immersed" in my franchise...Wow, some of the things people complain about and also appluad on here are puzzling.

You know what would make me feel "immersed" in a franchise? A rookie class that actually came from NCAA. Players that I could actually edit to reflect their real life counterpart. I could go on but I won't...But hey guess what? We got Adam Shefter tweeting in the game!!! YES!!!! *facepalm*

please stop, at least they're adding cool new innovative things and are actually TRYING to create a better football game experience. And if they had included NCAA import into this years game it most likely would have been broken or glitched and people like you would have found reasons to bitch about that too so just give it a rest.
