Re: NCAA Football 13 Screenshot - Field Degradation
I just finished a day game in sunny weather in Miami and didn't notice any jersey wear and tear, but there was pretty good helmet scuffing. No pics though, sorry.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Screenshot - Field Degradation
It's definitely more difficult to see details like dirt during gameplay as well now. It seems they've reduced the level of detail of the models for the distance of the camera during general gameplay. Visors, for instance, only appear during cutscenes and zoomed way in on replays. So it might be harder to notice dirt unless you zoom right in in the replay menu.
EDIT: Fourth quarter sunny day game. That is dirt on #4's shoulder and not a shadow.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Screenshot - Field Degradation
From what I'm seeing so far on non-rain games, everything gets dirty except anything white. Even black tape on players wrists get dirt on them. I just played as VT against Miami, and Miami's shirts were clean after the game and VT's pants were clean. However, everything else had dirt on it. Noticeable.
Field also got torn up nicely. Last night I didn't realize I was playing on FieldTurf. Helmets also had quite a few scuff marks.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Screenshot - Field Degradation
I swear this is the strangest bug in the game. Why does it not work? In my head it should be so simple to fix but hey Im not a games developer so maybe it is extremely hard after all.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Screenshot - Field Degradation
Just played a game in the rain to test, and white shirts and pants definitely get dirty. It takes longer than non-white, which is odd, but at least they get dirty in the rain.
Both pictures taken in the 3rd quarter.
However, in a rainy game, the field stays nice and green the entire time. Oh well.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Screenshot - Field Degradation
EA lied to us again this is NOT fixed in ncaa13 i just played a game south carolina at georgia(natural grass) i was wearing white jerseys w/ black pants playing 10 min quarters in clear weather...Lattimore had 32 carries for 133 yards...by the end of the game his pants were covered in stains and absolutely nothing on his jersey...there were some scuffs on his helmet...but still NO DEGRADATION ON WHITE UNISIt's not the dog in the fight, it's the fight in the dog...XBL GT: Godz HittmanComment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Screenshot - Field Degradation
not sure why many of you are saying they lied, they never really told the truth about it. Ea likes to deflect the question which they are good at. The uniform problem has been an issue since last year, yet nothing has been done to fix it, it makes no sense why colored uniforms get dirty faster than white uniforms. i really did expect more from ncaa 13 and so far looks like another let down from a company that takes no pride in their work, and seems to be lazy and ignorant.Comment
