After an hour of messing around trying to get my dynasty game to load, I think I may have a solution. I removed the Ethernet cord when booting up the game. It finally allowed me to playa week 2 in my Notre Dame dynasty!

Hopefully this solution can get you by until a patch.

Edit--- looks like others have found to it helps to use all recruiting and scouting time during the week
