Background: Campbell, a native that grew up in Punta Gorda, FL is older than some of his coaches at Florida Tech. Having already experienced a decorated career in the Army that was cut short by severe shin splits in each of his legs, Campbell has decided to pursue his dream of earning a degree in Physical Therapy and is a beacon of inspiration and motivation to both his team at Florida Tech and the Pensacola, FL community. Driven with the knowledge of how to work efficiently as a group, a high football IQ, and an unwavering commitment to his team, Campbell is as important to the team on the field when he’s disrupting offenses as a run support specialist, as he is off the field where he’s a role model to the young Sun Warriors. Even though he can only play limited minutes due to his legs, Campbell gives it his all each and every second he’s out on the field “I wear number 25 because I served in the 25^th I.D. in Hawaii, I practice and play as hard as I can in honor of all my friends still serving.” With that he winks at the T.V. camera, and makes the number 25 with his hands before running off towards the South part of Jones-Smith Memorial Stadium to do another set of stadium steps.
