what is the best pure passing heavy air raid playbook stock...not custom?

Hey, I was wondering what the consensus might be towards what is.the best stock, air raid playbook in NCAA13? Not q custom book but a team air raid book? Also, is there a major difference between the generic run n shoot book and the SMU book this year? And if its not an air raid or run n shoot playbook, what do you feel is the best passing playbook in NCAA13?

I really like Texas A&M's. Has a pretty sweet 4x1 spread set.

I hadn't had a chance to try that one. I will though. Thanks

Hawaii has a new coach and are no longer a run and shoot team.

Yeah, TTU probably has the most "basic" Air Raid playbook in the game. Just the core concepts and not a lot of other fluff.

Leach's playbook is Washington State's...pretty much the same as WVU's, but with less Pistol.

It's just a matter of opinion. Try some out. Teams like Indiana, Oklahoma State, West Virginia and Washington State all have air raid offenses. Mike Leach is the new Washington St. coach, if that means anything to you

I've heard Texas A&M's is pretty good for air-raid action

It really depends what kind of alignments you want to run it out of. You can run air raid out of any set and personnel.

I went custom last year, but it was based off of West Virginia, I just took out the filler plays that don't belong in the offense. I would recommend Oklahoma State, West Virginia (last year OSU and WVU were the same) if you're looking for a Pistol/Gun hybrid. Washington State is very similar to WVU's last year. East Carolina would be good if you're looking for Texas Tech-era Leach.

If I remember correctly, books like BYU have all the Air Raid concepts based on how the offense was originally developed, with a lot of two back formations. As others have said, Texas A&M (and Houston by extension), could very well be your best bet. Sumlin's offense is about as aerial attack as it gets.
