Re: Bad Player Models
IMHO, we arrived with a goofy game for the past several years substantially due to "player models", equipment and stuff that has zero to do with how the game actually plays. They do all this legend stuff and watch, Reggie White will be playing patty cake with Jeremy Trueblood the whole game.
The good ole days in madden 02-05 nobody cared about that stuff or at least my friends anyway. The games where fun and good. Now, they look great, they have all the gear and all that, BUT you have zig zag running, zero pass rush and psychic DB's (hopefully not this year).
Trade me the exact same player models from that gen and add physics this year and it kills 13. We don't need to see the player faces and all that BS, we want a good game and looking like Tarzan and playing like Jane is old...PSN: jclentzthadon -
Re: Bad Player Models
I am more bothered by the ape like arms. Every player has those arms, and they are just so long. It's been like this since Madden 06 (Xbox 360).
EA needs to clean up these models, but they also need to work on the way they move. Some adjustments needed- some players need to thin out a bit in the arms and legs. The facemask bars need to be a bit thicker, jersey numbers seam to be a bit big and a bit too low of the jerseys, hunchback of players looks ridiculous, +more....
I think people are just tired of complaining about player models. We have done it this entire gen, and they even tried to fix them and look what we got. I just don't think who ever works on player models has a good vision for it. probably won't really change much until he is replaced or until next generationLast edited by wheelman990; 07-14-2012, 05:42 PM.Comment
