Was Fitzpatrick clean shaven when he first started for us? If so I think I know the problem.

Ah definitely. Bledsoe had a sick year that first season.

I'm with KingV. Fitz is good enough when we're winning and it's hard to want him replaced because he is capable. But we have to find a better option, not a lateral replacement. Draft a guy high or throw money at some hot shot QB.

        Ah, I forgot Drew Bledsoe!!!

        Total class act, that guy...

Sadly, well past his prime by the time he showed up here tho...

Here's my question to you guys:

        V. Young or Donovan McNabb?

He's working out with the intention of catching on somewhere...

Pretty "toss up" because he's getting old quick, but he does have a great demeanor...

I want McNabb less than Young. McNabb will drive you crazy, especially at this advanced age. He looked completely gassed last season. I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

Yeah as much as I dont like the VY signing I would hate a McNabb signing even more. We need to stop putting bandaids on the problem and fix them

McNabb is done, there's no way i'd ever want him on the Bills. If this was 3-4 years ago than I could see it but right now? Nuh uh.

Exactly. He could have been something awhile ago but not now.

Well, I read that Fred Jackson is the #2 most important player returning from injury this year, behind Matt Schaub but ahead of guys like Peyton Manning, Eric Berry, and Adrian Peterson.

That's rather high esteem for Jackson. So happy he's being recognized for what he is: a great football player.

Well that's good because he is a great player and deserves to be recognized. Being in the top 100 players this season is also another good recognition for him as well

                      Re: Official Buffalo Bills Thread

Looks like the Bills decided to keep the original 100% capacity number to lift TV blackouts...

At first glance, it looked to me like Ralph being old and cheap, but last night I saw a few local congressmen talk about the "small print" that would have really hamstrung a team barely holding on...

I have to admit, I was "sold" by those stats and am cool with the call...

Anyone else have thoughts on that?

On a related note, many Rodgers Centre Tickets have been cut by over 50% for the annual Bills game in TO...

Well from what I have seen from training camp footage the pass rush seems to be dominant hopefully that can continue through the preseason and through the whole season

Aaron Maybin looked dominant in training camp too. I'm cautiously optimistic about this team though. Reminds me of the Texans in recent years where everyone expected them to finally make the jump to the playoffs and they'd just barely fall short.

Hmmm, not a bad comparison. We're in a tougher division too.

I don't know if I'm even expecting a playoff berth. I think I'm just expecting a decent year... A FULL year. Not this hot/cold stuff we've done the past 2 seasons. 8-10 wins, and hopefully that's worthy of a playoff position.

I agree camp and game are two different things in just saying the team has looked good. If we get over the 8 win plateau then I'll consider it a successful season

On paper I think the Bills can be a pretty good team. If the offense can be a little more consistent and keep the defense off the field then who knows what can happen. I think on paper at least the defense has the potential to be a top 5 defense in the league but again, it depends on the offense to make sure they don't overwork themselves and be put in bad situations.
