Game Freeze Solution for the 360

This game has had this problem for a few years now and I've always corrected it by installing the game on my hard drive, which is the first thing I did when I got '13. Haven't had a single problem yet. Hope this helps.

thanks for trying to help, unfortunately the majority of us freezing have already tested this and it has no effect on the freezing we are having.

I always HDD install. Dynasty worked great until I hit 2016, and got progressively worse. Now I can't even play a game or go to the recruit menu without a crash

I installed Day 1. Freezes have been off the chart.

May game is freezing now on week 10. I can't play the week. Gets halfway through the load process and then just stops.

Now up to 8 times freezing during that particular game load. This is f'n unreal.

I was having the same problem. I was not using all my recruiting minutes for the week that was causing this. When I went back and used them all my games load correctly now. Hope this works.

Hey guys, I saw this solution elsewhere online so I can't take credit, but it does work. Just don't select your team before you go into the game, move the controller icon to the middle to activate "spectator mode," and it will load the game. Then pause and go to choose sides and then pick your team.

Worked for me, hope it helps.

I'm glad, but extremely depressed to see this thread. I'm glad that I'm not taking crazy pills and this isn't only happening to me.

However, seriously? I'm can't even play my week 2 game. It locks up during the load screen to where I have to reboot. And I've tried it between two machines.

How does this happen. They take out importing classes. They add a few animations and precision throwing, but make the game unplayable. Do they even test these games? Plus, all of the extras that you can buy? It's ridiculous. I've never seen such a blatant disregard for the consumer base.

Is there even anything acknowledgement from EA about this?

I've managed to avoid any freezes for the past couple days, which is saying alot considering how many I had before. Every week before I try and load my game I add a random recruit to my board, then take him off, and save (I should also note that after I complete a game, I advance to the next week and finish all of my recruiting/scouting for that week before shutting down). Haven't had any problems with load screen freezes since. And I have also started to cancel connecting to the EA servers when first booting up the game. This seems to have alleviated the in-game freezes. I can't say for certain that these will work 100% of the time as it could all just be coincidence, but just wanted to pass along the info.
