Does anybody have or seen any madden 13 videos that shows that the defensive back can actually pick you off close to the side line or even and new animations ....cuz I was highly disappointed in madden 12 cuz nothing was more frustrating this you wide open close to the sideline but never getting the pick ?

I really hope they do change this. I've had a lot of opportunity's to intercept passes close to the side line and it never lets me.

yea, ive always noticed this. I would have to believe this happens because they haven't created sideline catch animations for defenders...therefore, its always gonna just be a dropped pick/deflection.
I have yet to see any defenders make any sideline catches in NCAA 13, so I would think this will continue to be the case for Madden 13. But I don't know for sure, so don't hold me to it.Comment

That doesn't make any sense, defenders use the same catch animations as the offence. I think it was mainly because in madden prior to 12 no defensive backs had a high enough catch rating, and in madden 12 no defensive backs had the 'make a sideline catch' perk.Comment

I have NEVER seen a defensive player make a toe tapping interception in Madden before and I'm pretty sure it's not possible. Someone show me a vid where it happens and prove me wrong.Comment

Hey OP, what's with the incomplete thread title, you trying to trick people into coming in here looking for a new M13 vid? lol.
Anyway, I can't recall seeing defenders trigger sideline catche animations in M12 but I think someone from EAGCs or CE stated they were in for either M13, NCAA 13 or both. I know for fact people that have played those games early mentioned diving interceptions though.Comment
