Restoring Rock Flop to Rocky Top: Ballinvol's Tennessee Volunteers Dynasty

Restoring Rocky Flop To Rocky Top: Ballinvol's Tennessee Volunteers Dynasty

    Introduction

For years now I've been waiting for a NCAA title from EA Sports that I could actually get sucked into. With the new gameplay updates (although minimal) and the new recruiting/scouting features, I'm pretty sure I've finally found that. This could be the first time since NCAA 06 that I actually invest time in doing a dynasty. What's the point if your not having fun, right?

    DYNASTY SETUP

    • Difficulty: Heisman
    • Sliders: Matt10's "Very Slow Speed" Heisman Sliders
    • Quarter Length: 8
    • Recruiting Difficulty: Heisman
    • Roster: OS Community Rosters

Anyone is now free to post. To those who will follow I would like to thank you ahead of time. This may move a bit slower than some dynasties at times, but I do live a busy life. I have to frequently work double shifts at my work so when I'm not working doubles and whatnot, I will continue to post here.

                            2012 Tennessee Football Roster Unveiled
The Vols put a young, but talented group on the field for 2012

Knoxville, TN (AP) - With kickoff just around the corner, the UT Athletic Department has released who will sport the Orange and run out of the infamous T for the Volunteers this season.

With only 10 seniors on the roster, the Vols are looking for younger players to step up and make a name for themselves. Spring practice unveiled some of that leadership from some of the underclassmen. Although starters have been determind, Coach Dooley reminded us that anyone is probable to play at any given moment this season.

"We are always looking for that person who has the determination and the fire to go out and make big plays", stated Coach Dooley. "If we feel a player isn't playing to his abilities and seems to be lackluster, we will rotate guys in who are itching to see the field. I like the production we have had out of these young gentlemen this Spring, and I look for it to carry over to production on the field this season."

Below is a glance at who will be strapping up in the Orange and White this season in Knoxville.

Vols get Bama and Florida at home; Georgia between the hedges

Knoxville, TN (AP) - The 2012 Tennessee Football schedule was re-released today after the Athletic Department scrambled to find another opponent for the recent drop of Georgia State.

Georgia State was dropped from the schedule due to scheduling guidelines that wouldn't allow for the matchup. In place of Georgia State, the UT Athetic Department came to an agreement with Wyoming Athletic Director Tom Burman that will send the Cowboys to Neyland Stadium on September 8th, 2012.

The Vols will open the season in North Carolina as they face NC State August 31st. Tennessee also holds a tough home game against #25 Florida, who the Vols have failed to defeat in the past 7 meetings. The Vols last win against the Gators was in 2004, when the Big Orange posted a 30-28 victory at Neyland Stadium.

The Third Saturday in October will yet again prove to be an overwhelming task for Vol Nation. #1 Alabama will come calling on October 20th, in what will be "see where they really stand" game for the Vols.

Below is a look at the full schedule for the 2012 Tennessee Volunteers football program.
