What is your Play Style

I like to run a Pro Style like offense. I run the ball and hit short routes. When the Defense least suspects it I throw deep to test them. Sometimes on my second drive I will go deep first play to make sure the Defense is awake. I like Two TE in packages so when I recruit I focus on bigger and faster TEs. Right now I am looking to get a fast HB and a power HB so I can start running a Two back system as well. That for is the fun in recruiting. Not trying to get the best players, but getting the best players available that fit your system. I usually have really great success because I keep the Defense guessing. I rarely use a Shotgun formation unless being blitzed a lot.

Balanced attack. I probably run 45% of the time, even more if I'm smoking a team.

On offense I run the ball. I love the ACE formations because I also like passing out of them too.

On Defense I love the 4-2-5 mixed with the 3-3-5 in my CPB. I play mostly man but I mix zone blitz's in too.

Defense I run a 4-3 Base D. 2WR or less I run a 4-3 Man. I am always blitzing one guy and I control the MLB. 3WR I either run Nickel Man or Dime Cover 3 and blitz an extra man. 4WR or more I play Dime Cover 3 and control the Safety. It helps me take away the middle of the field while getting pressure on the QB.

I have been playing with WVU and Texas Tech with their Air Raid offenses. It's been 95-5 pass (mostly short passes). I find it very challenging to call run plays out of shotgun.

I think the only run plays that work in shotgun are draw plays. I can usually run out of shotgun also if there are only 3 DLineman and the DBs are playing deep. Usually the ONLY time I would run out of shotgun.

Offense: I like multiple type playbooks. I like to go after where my opponent is weakest. If they have a crappy line, I will pound the ball and hit them with play action. Lack of depth at corner or a good front 7? Spread em out and try to get the ball in the air. I don't need any stars on offense (though having one at QB is especially nice) to have some success, but I if any unit is bad, it really hurts things.

Defense: 4-3, speed kills defense. I like to shift people around a bit, but I usually try to play pretty basic fronts. Not a whole lot of blitzes, and if they are they're usually pretty straightforward run blitzes. I usually try to cover up weaknesses and maximize strengths. Usually I will have a pass rush DE and a balanced/run stopper on the other side. A coverage specialist LB goes above the run stopper. A balanced/run stopping DE goes over the pass rusher. I'm not too picky about DTs as long as they're pretty strong. I want my front 7 to be fast, so they can get to the edges and run down the ball carrier quickly. Plus, it helps a lot if they can cover receivers decently so I don't need to leave my base formations as much. Defensive backs need to be good in man coverage and I prefer tall safeties to fast safeties.

guns up, i run the air raid on offense. simple offense, few plays out of many formations you can shred defenses if you know what to read and react to

defense wise… still under construction. I've never been good at defense

On offense I go with a Pro style formation with a heavy emphasis on running. Like to have a strong running FB with a quick HB and a scrambling QB. Like to have QB draws and FB runs thrown in the mix, at least to me, adds variety and keeping the defense not knowing who's going to run with it.

i like to play pro style. however i've been doing some experimenting with the Nebraska spread offense, and find some aspects of that i really enjoy.

last night i decided to make a cpb using NE's playbook as a base, then the plan is to incorporate a good handful of Ace, and kind of craft a Pro Spread style offense and see how i come out.

I'm playing with UMass right now and their running back is one of the best players on my team so i run most of the time probably about 70-30. On defense i like to run cover 2 or 3 on first down from the 4-3 and on second i blitz or use cover 3. On third i either blitz or run man depending what i did on second down. If they only have 1 WR or if they are getting big gains on the ground i use the 4-4.

Run n Shoot mostly from Pistol. Like to mix in a Pro Style running game and some option in. The pistol seems to be perfect for that.

In my years of playing NCAA, I've had the most fun playing a pro style offense. Love having fast RB's, big RB's, scat backs, etc. My preference is to have a strong ground game.

When I go to the air, I like quick hitting routes; slants, drags, and curls. Having a versatile FB who can catch the ball out of the backfield is always a plus. I love going down field at any given time as well. Around the goal line I like a TE who can leak out and grab me a touchdown.

Defensively I go 4-3 with a lot of man. I'll bring the house to mix things up, but I prefer faster linemen who can generate a pass rush on their own. If I blitz I like to bring guys off the edge.
