My kicker at Rutgers, has 74KPW, and he's lucky to get enough distance for 40 yards.

That's pathetic. If you hit it full power, then I don't think anyone could fault you for bumping up his power a little.

sorry no video. I cut the game off too quickly to get one. Ive seen better kickers in middle school, seriously. If its not inside 30 i have no chance and Ive seen this happen to others online.

In a Dynasty with EMU, who is pretty awful too, I think I was short on a 40, or 42. It happens with the lower tier schools, with lower talent. Heck, look back to Michigan a couple of years ago, they didnt have a kicker under that tool RichRod, they struggled to kick extra points, and any field goal, no matter how short or long.

If you want to up the distance, change the FG power slider.

Im online so I couldnt change it. But a 74 overall kicker at East Carolina should be able to hit up to 48 or 49 you would think. These are D1 athletes. Im fine with missing left or right, but hell I am a terrible kicker and I made a 40 yarder messing around at the field near my house. I have routinely seen average high school kickers make 40-45 yarders, or at least have the power to get it there.

Ah, now we are moving on to bitching about kickers. I have a question. There is a little SEC team called Vanderbilt. Last year, they lost a couple of games by missing chip shot field goals. I'm talking extra point range.

Come back when you run into a real problem. Not every kicker is going to be great. Mich St. kicker, online, I have hit my longest, a 56 yarder. It bobbled off the bottom pole and fell in. Some kickers stink, who coulda thunk it.

I agree with him. People are complaining about kicking now because they cannot hit a 48 yard kick with a 74 overall player. Sounds like he should be missing. There will be a thread in the future about people complaining that they make every field goal and it's not "sim!"

A 74 OVR shouldn't have a range above 35 ish, IMO. My 78 overall kicker at UNLV tops out at about 40 yards, with a long of 44 (12 MPH wind helping me)

Thought I would add that last years Ray Guy Award winner (best kicker) is an 80 OVR in this game.
