You understand that the fix list is for the end-of-august patch, right? the July 31 patch is only to fix the two issues listed in the first paragraph.

That's why I said it appears they're not doing anything about the option - because it isn't listed for that August patch.

i read that wrong then i thought that was all for the 1st patch and the 2nd patch hadn't been announced yet. Oh well, i still will prob wait before i start.

One thing I would like to see maybe in another Tuner is to tune the Studio Update stats and simulation stats. QB's are way off in completion percentage. Not a gamebreaker, but it's really frustrating coming from a dynasty guy like myself. I know I speak for others here too. Nonetheless, i'm excited for the fixes (as long as they don't break a heaping pile of other features/gameplay).

As long as EA doesn't charge a ton for jerseys, I don't mind paying for newer stuff at all.

It'll probably be 400 microsoft points for 5 uniforms. 160 solo, if they even go that route.

Just a wild guess though.

In summary, it will again be impossible to pass like last year, we get new uniforms, and the game will still freeze every 2 or 3 games in the last quarter.

I play man almost exclusively online and absolutely dominate defensively. There are a lot of problems with this game but man defense is absolutely NOT one of them, on or offline. It is the one aspect of the game where ratings actually combine to matter.

If you're struggling with it, you're using it wrong. Either your personnel don't match well with your opponent's or you are calling it in situations where you're more likely to get beat on deep balls (2nd and 3rd & Long).

You're right about 3/4 man pass rush though and I'm guessing it is contributing to your pass coverage problems. DB's cannot cover indefinitely. So just blitz. If you're getting beat anyway, you've got nothing to lose. Mix in a corner blitz with zone behind it and just change what your opponent is seeing.

I would be furious if they patched either of those things, they work just fine. It separates elite defensive players from the people who very obviously don't know what they're doing.

And by the way I'm 54-13 so obviously "I don't know what I'm doing". Streaks are open every time in man. Period.

I'm sorry that I don't like being what basically boils down to a beta tester for these developers. I mean, within MINUTES of firing a game up so many things were found to be wrong with the game play. On top of that, I have busted my *** off trying to tweak sliders here and there to hopefully mask most of said game play issues.

With all due respect, that's OUR fault. I feel the same way, man. I feel like I can't play the game or start a dynasty until both of these patches drop. I want the updated uniforms and the game doesn't feel right with teams in the wrong uniforms.

But we're the ones who buy the game on or close to release day, and we know it's going to be like this because it has been like this every year. We are beta testers and that is not going to change. Games from EA being fully playable out of the box are a thing of the past, and patches are what get us closer to a better game.

I know exactly how you feel but I can only blame myself because I know there would be issues and yet I bought the game close to release day anyway. Some of the responsibility for me not being able to enjoy the game right now falls on me because I knew better.

I always say this but we should all rent the game first, read forums, and make a decision on buying based on how the game is after a couple of patches. But it's a vicious cycle because we all buy early, then complain about these issues that we knew would be present.

It falls on us, too.

With all of that said, I am happy with the patch fix lists. Having updated uniforms will be awesome. I can finally have Washington's CORRECT home jersey that they have been wearing since 2010! The Uniform Store will be amazing if it's done properly.
