big le sigh from me, i tried the "workaround" for the game loading crash, of creating a new save file, but that didn't work - this means there are at least 6 in game crashing bugs

1) the bug that gets fixed by creating a new save
2) the game loading crash by choosing your team to play
3) the game loading crash by choosing to play CPU vs CPU with CPU teams (may or may not be related to studio updates)
4) after the game loads, it crashes before showing the rece davis look-in , displaying just a black screen
5) crashes in supersim, at quarter changes
6) crashes after the game, while scrolling through photos

how many will actually be fixed by the first patch? i'm not getting my hopes up, patch #1 appears to be intended to put the game from alpha into beta quality

Holy hell. I've frozen once at quarter changes. Is there anyone else with your amount of crashing/freezing? The game is certainly not alpha, that is exaggerating. At some point you may have to start looking at your system. I know my slim sometimes acts up with EA, which always gives me the shivers of thinking it will fail on me.

Or like other people, you can stick your figures in your ears, stick out your tongue and make noises. Also don't forget to call me an EA shill or whatever.

The one thing thats throwing me off is the one about schools with D+ not being able to advance. So right now its broken and if I do well with akron during my dynasty its not going to matter correct?

Hopefully that is just an abbreviated version of the full patch log because that is really small, generic and even misses some of the major issues as some have pointed out.

I cannot remember but does Tiburon ever give out detailed patch logs? I know that the EA PC games normally do but with Tiburon everything is usually fan unfriendly.

two different xbox systems, which rarely crash with other games. i've determined the different loading bug crashes by virtue of testing the game in different scenarios (like finding out that game A has a studio update in game B, playing game A will crash, but playing game B and then A won't)

also the game didn't nearly crash as much during the first 4 years of dynasty, there could be a roster corruption issue - blackbox testing is good for find issues quickly, but not for providing any insight into the problems

software that crashes this much IS alpha quality

light colored uniforms not degrading stadium lights aren't on unless is at really low angle the grass looks terrible ps3

Why the main patch in Late August? By that time I'll be playing madden in probably won't touch NCAA 13 for 2 months.

Why the main patch in Late August? By that time I'll be playing madden in probably won't touch NCAA 13 for 2 months.

they've carried a large portion of the code base through 10 years, it's obvious the 10 month dev cycle (aug-may) isn't enough anymore with the brittle dynasty engine

ideally they'll build NCAA for PS4/Nextbox from the ground up, but that's doubtful

I have to disagree with you, friend. The game has very serious freezing issues all at various points which what seems for different reasons. He didn't mention freezes from using teambuilder which EA advised me to not use. I have to agree with him, I hope the updates are to focus on fixing the crashing issues first and foremost. Uniform shop and everything else looks great but I'd like it 100% playable first.

Quick question. My dynasty games have been freezing during half time, will the first update fix this? It does not exactly match the scenario EA Sports provided so I was not sure if it will. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

they basically gave as little information as possible (to try to stem a sales slowdown?), based on the "workaround" they provided, it seems the scope of the first patch is very narrow to two bugs and they won't be fixing other crashes

but since everything from EA is in the form of marketing delivery, it's hard to tell
