    Sydeburnz' 2013 Coach Sliders (HUM COACH vs CPU)

    FINAL as of 9/18/2012 barring tuning or patch changes

    These are for HUM COACH vs CPU Dynasty Play. It requires you to change controls REGULAR to COACH just prior to game start. You will no longer control players but you will have control of play calling based on whether you are HC, OC or DC.

    To play in COACH MODE do the following: Click A button to begin the game (screen that allows you to pick your Offense/Defensive scheme) and change CONTROLS from REGULAR to COACH.

    Major overhaul based on testing done on previous sliders and confirmed via Oraeon1224's recent updates as well. Going down didn't solve anything, maybe going up will Nice pockets are developing but the biggest change is the increase in penalties as a way to control the ebb and flow of the game.

    Thanks, I'll try these out.

    So you plan on sticking with Heisman this year or will you be working on some AA sliders? The only problem with Heisman is that EA STILL did not correct the CPU FG kicking logic which really ruins close games.

      You can actually run these on All American, I just like the toughness of Heisman. While the FG issue may be there, it doesn't seem as "noticeable" for lack of a better word, especially with the increased power and inaccuracy.

            With tuner, I never remove patches or tuners, to much work to switch between online and offline. What teams are you playing ?

                these sliders are amazing, but if you play a game in the rain neither team will be able to make an extra point, and field goals are out of the question. must be an issue with the game..... just wondering if you noticed that. i don't know if we can fix that with sliders or if it's just screwed up like that..... but i do love your coach mode slider set!

                    To address some of the issues I am testing the following today;

                    To open up the run play, especially option, I'm testing Rush Defense at 40. But it does seem to make the secondary very slow to respond when dropped back into zone.


                    Field Goals: Increase FGA to 35. I havn't seen the issue mentioned above, that almost sounds as if it was played Hum vs CPU with Autopass instead of true coach mode. Just as last year, if your stick is involved in any way the game plays differently than true coach mode.

                      I'm playing full coach mode, and I've seen the same thing -- horrible FG accuracy even in clear weather. I know i"m playing UMass as a dynasty and playing small schools like Miami of Ohio and such, but still -- even at this low level, way too many botched PATs and short field goals.. Testing at 35 as you recommended.

                          I like it at 56. But feel free to try 0 and 100 and post some stats. Anyone who knows what that slider "really" does isn't talking

                          My 2012 Coach Set was based on Zero's, including Threshold, so this year I was tying to hang closer to EA's vision of 50's while making the game more sim statistically ... but it may be a losing battle

                            Threshold: 56 - Why 56? That is the slowest player on the Memphis Roster. There is some speculation that it assists with pass coverage as well. So I am not assiting players with speed but may add a slight coverage assistance (probably by adding speed to secondary)

                            Stadium PA: 100 yeah!

                            On the Field: 50 (tackles sound like car crashes at default)
                            Menu Music: 0

                            Custom Stadium Sounds: 25 (Custom Sounds can cause delays and lockups, esp 3-4 DOWN conversions while game is trying to show highlight simulataneously)

                            No need running these up to 100 if they dont work. The sliders that do work seem to happen more often at 50+

                            Heisman Sliders: These are meant for those of us who call the plays from the Booth. Numbers are the same for both HUM & CPU

                            QBA: 35 - you ain't throwing them, the CPU is and they aren't as risky as you are. Way less INT's and even some tossed away. Scramblers will scramble!<o</o

                            Pass Blocking: 45 - Don't try a 4 Vert Hail Mary Bomb on 3rd and long... you will be punished.But since your QB is a machine he can handle the pressure!

                            WR Catch: 45 - These guys wear gloves, lick their fingers, rub dirt on to help with adhesion. The least we can do is err to the side of caught.

                            RBA: 50 - I no longer feel it is fair to increase the speed of the ball carrier. Why waste your time trying to recruit a 90 speed back if an 80-89 is just as fast thanks to RBA enhancement? They seem to run fine, no fancy moves necessary because we have real blocking this year

                            Run Block: 55 - Pancakes

                            Pass Coverage: 70 - I actually believe all this does is increase the speed of the secondary. SO what looks like better coverage is really just better correction speed if they flub their play awareness roll.

                            Pass Rush: 55 - I think this just increases the speed of the pass rushers. Are you starting to see a pattern here ? So LB's get a speed boost shooting the gap. No reason for that but giving them seems to keep the qb's busier

                            Interceptions:35 - Pretty sure this just determines caught or dropped.

                            Rush Defense: 55 - Thinking this just increases the speed of the defender after the ball carrier. To high and a lot of plays stuffed in backfield. +5 to give them a squirt of addrenalin.

                            Tackling: 40 - If you go aggressive you are dropping this to 30 if you go conservative you are going to 50 (guesstimation). Balanced at 40 feels good this year. Lower ranked teams should drop Strip Ball to Conservative to give you a bit more tenacity while leaving some room to POP.

                            Special Teams:<o</o

                              i will post a couple of game stats later and let you know and im pretty sure it has something to do with the acceleration rating but i dont want to make speed be the only thing that matters in the game so thats why i decided on 0 and 100
