Is it impossible for us to be glad they are patching the game. I am very surprised at the thinly veiled outrage over them patching. It really is never enough. It takes time to patch and, well, they are probably going down a set list of problems by importance. Freezing issues first, etc., etc.

The responsiveness of those animations deal with whether or not the player is looking at the ball. The user should not be able to swat, imo, if he is not looking at the ball. They seemed smoother to me when the db had his head turned, but when in a trail position is when you see the delay.

That isn't true to me. The times I see the most unresponsiveness from the system is when I am standing there looking at the ball and go to pick it my guy doesn't jump, and then they get a huge gain because of it. I actually have better luck running up under the ball then waiting for the ball to get there. I don't know if it is when your strafing the player just looks at the ground or what but that usually is where it is the worst for me, and that is when it should be an easy pick.

FIX THE FG LOGIC ON THE HEISMAN LEVEL!

This needs to be fixed and there is absolutely no reason this has not been fixed yet. Ridiculous. 2 or 3 50+ yard FG attempts per game can turn a game around. I've always said that this defect is responsible for lots of CPU losses.

Not the case...95% of the time that i have perfect position and my DB is looking at the ball he still will not swat at the ball.

dont forge that qa removes anywhere from 200,000 to 300,000 issues a year for ncaa. they are in Baton Rouge doing it at huge new facility. So it could be much worse. but for our sake it could of been better also.

good to see they are finally updating and patching some of the issues in the game but for me it will be too late to even try them out since im trading mine in for madden 13. Safe to say this was a disappointing year imo for EA's ncaa football game. Here's to hoping madden is better.

Name one game you played in the past three years that was completely perfect on release. No patches needed. Once again, I'll wait!

The truth of the matter is that EA has deadlines to go by. You think they wouldn't want to have everything perfect when they released the game? They do their best to ensure that the game is as playable as can be by release date.

I'm just amazed at how many repeat customers are repeat complainers as well. Complain if they didn't attempt to fix issues. Y'all are hilarious.

People...you need to relax and be happy they are working on the game to improve it. They are fixing the most crippling issues first, as they should.

1) It looks like they are trying to drop this patch right before the real season starts.

2) Will it affect current Dynasties or will you have to begin new Dynasties for the changes to take affect?

3) The option is not broken if you go in and edit a few things. I honestly haven't seen the matador DB watch the RB pass by defense since the weekend of the Season Ticket. I also deleted the tuner too though so...


For me, I don't mind waiting it out because I'm just editing rosters right now anyway. It'll prolly take me well into August to finish my project. I'll just keep playing Play Now games while testing the roster edits and playing in an OD League to pass time away.

Also, it is for one my hope...and two my greates fear...that EA doesn't do to this game what it did to Fight Night Champion with all of ther tuners and patches. You fix one thing and break 3. That would really be disasterous!!!
