By Kickstarter, do you mean set up a donation fund?

If so, I need commitment on the company's end before I do anything like that.

As I stated in a thread here 2 years ago, EA was never going to renew the contract anyways. They lost too much money, but gained exactly what they wanted with it.

EA cutting me a check... no matter how small the amount, I'm going to relish this.

Not from some random person starting it up, I mean from the company itself. I don't even know if Kickstarter can be used as a donation type site, or at least I doubt it, the way I've seen it work.

Yes! I agree with this. We have seen 2K make football games and honestly I want some new, new fresh blood with someone like Sony making Football games and would like to see Sony get rights to both NCAA and NFL that way people can still import and maybe they can get the Import system right.

How about NCAA The Show 15, NFL The Show 15?

Seems to me like this is a great thing for sports gamers. I will enjoy Madden and NFL 2K!!!

                  Ah, oh, ok, gotcha.

As I said before, the 2k8 designers are mostly all gone and spread out.

Depending on how much you're getting, it might be more than what one share of their stock will be worth!

Hopefully, we will see the return of 2K football with NFL 2K15 and/or NCAA Football 2K15 during the first year of the PS4 and XBOX 720. 2K Sports/Visual Concepts should get their ducks in order to make a big splash like they did with the launch of the Dreamcast.

Since 2K Sports are no longer making NHL and MLB games, they only have NBA 2K series left----and maybe the Top Spin series. 2K Sports definitely needs to add another sport franchise to their brand.

I dont know where all of this automatic 2k love is coming from. Does anyone remember the train wreck that was All Pro?

No one can't stop the NFL from giving an Exclusive license. The NFL is a PRIVATE ENTITY. So EA can re-up if the NFL wants to. You cannot force the NFL to license you a game. They can do a defacto exclusive by giving one license out...period. This changes nothing.

I think they would just keep the Show Brand going and call it NFL The Show, or NCAA The Show. I doubt it would be like gameday, considering what they have done with MLB The Show, it will definitely be an improvement over Gameday and would be great competition for EA.
