It's a thankless job. They will always have massive detractors because the game doesn't cater to every single one of us in our own "special" way. Seriously, I never read "Bug and Glitches" threads for this very reason; I don't even notice about 75 percent of the bugs and glitches that most others do.
The sad part is this - this developers most likely grew up loving and playing this game, too. Just like us. They want to deliver the best game that they can with the limited resources that they possess. Does anyone actually think it was a developer's idea to axe the ability to import draft classes to Madden?
The problem is these guys have deadlines and a corporate office making their decisions for them. I have voiced complaints over this game as well but I try and leave the development team out of it.
People can and should blame EA for this game's shortcomings... Just leave the developers out of it. I believe they're doing the best they can.
I am not an EA apologist... I guess my standards just aren't that high anymore; this game has always been a blast to me and I always get my money's worth. I'm pumped that we're finally going to get some uniform updates (which is something that the development team has probably wanted for five years but finally got the go-ahead from the big wigs).
