An excessive amount of upsets in dynasty mode. Anyone else notice this?

Hawaii beating USC, UL Monroe beating Oklahoma, Utah State beating Bama. I mean upsets happens. That's one of the great things about college football. But it seems as though they happen way too often in dynasty mode. Anyone else notice this?

Yes. An FCS team beat Oklahoma among other upsets. I am 5 weeks into season one of my dynasty and the top 25 is a mess.

The sim logic has been a complete mess the past couple of years. Having a good record or a lot of talent seems to work against teams. The game tries to teams from going undefeated and separating themselves from the pact. I've seen way too many simulated games where an A+ team struggled to beat a D+ team. The ratings of the teams don't seem to matter enough.

I hope so, because it is ridiculous. Way too many upsets...

I've actually had pretty realistic results. Only real upsets are not that crazy, like UT over UGA and SMU over Baylor.

Ive been seeing more upsets this year too. Havent got too far into dynasty yet to see how the Top 25 turns out.

Oregon loses to Nevada, LSU loses to TCU, Texas A&M to Vandy, and Hawaii upsets another top 10 in Texas. This all has happened over two weeks. Last week's upsets were in the original post.

None of those are that crazy. But yeah I've seen multiple big upsets almost every week.

It's one of the reasons I decided to not purchase the game after season ticket. It ruins the immersion in Dynasty for me.

I've noticed this problem too.
Around 1/4 to 1/2 of the top 25 ends up losing every week. As much as upsets do happen in real life, they don't happen this frequently. If three or four teams in the top ten lose against unranked teams almost every week, there's a bit of a problem.

At this point the dynasty upsets along with freezing are the top 2 problems EA should address in the first patch. If those problems are fixed I'd give this year's game a 9/10.

I expect them to fix it. One thing we need are realistic computer controlled teams. But in about 3 of my dynasties I have 2 and 3 star schools so until then, let the upsets begin!!!! OR continue Idgaf #winning
