EA needs to change the slider settings

EA needs to change the way they do the sliders. You bump up or down 5 on some of these sliders and it is too much of a difference. They need to fix the sliders so we can move the sliders in increments of 1.

agree but at the same time they need to be more effective. There are tons of sliders with with 0 and 100.

That is true, I am not convinced the pass coverage slider is working. I am not seeing much difference when I adjust it. There are way too may variables in this game that make it frustrating to get the right feel. Last year I finished only 2 dynasty seasons because I screwed around with the sliders all year long and still didn't get the game where I thought it was playable. I am starting to think this year is not any different.

i think they need to get more in depth with the sliders to in the future and add some more would be nice and going by one is much needed in my mind. I don't understand for speed threshold they go by one but for sliders they changed up.

They need to put the madden slider system in this game that would be nice.

I kind of wish they'd start sliders at 0 and you could adjust upward as needed.

It would not work. What if you need to decrease an attribute or phase of the game? Unless you are saying that it would go -100 - 100 or -50 - 50.

Imo... They should do a minimum slider and a max slider.. Like I have a nascar computer game... They have a min rating and max rating for every driver.. And the performance of the driver is somewhere btwn the two.

But beyond sliders... EA Sports needs to desperately overhaul the ai "coaching" play calling... It is horrendous... Especially the defensive play calling. Also think ea needs to create a program that allows ai "coaches" to make ingame adjustments based on what u (or cpu if its cpu v cpu game) are doing.


I also think weather needs to dictate cpu play calling

The problem is when you set a slider setting at 0, such as QB ACC, the QB should be flat out horrible, but that is not the case. I often wonder if some of these slider settings work at all.

EA Fix the Sliders Please!!!!

First off the sliders in this game do not work right. With the HUM QB ACC setting at 0, I should not be throwing a 75% completion.

The HUM LB's in this game react too quickly to the ball. I set my rush def to 0 and my LB's are constantly in the backfield blowing up the run plays.

The CPU Offense is horrible in this game. I purposely set Oklahoma HB at 99 ratings and then played against him. The CPU Run block was set at 100 with my Def. at 0, and the CPU RB at 85, with my tackling rating at 40. The RB was flat out horrible. He flat out couldn't run the ball.

I think EA needs to do more testing on these sliders. If they worked right, then this game should be near perfect with the right tweeks. I have been playing NCAA football games since the beginning of time. You can say this is the best one in the new generation, but I think it is pretty close to 12, which I thought was horrible. EA do us a favor, test your sliders before the next patch and make them work right please!!!

Having game settings similar to what NBA 2K (arcade, SIM) and NHL (casual, normal, hardcore) use would also be helpful.
