So I'm asking this question.I know there will be story lines for players in the game.But will they actually relate to the game?

Maddens of past have added in Stadium upgrades but they did nothing for my team or stadium.I still don't know why they added in that feature.So I'm wondering if the story lines will just be there or will they actually affect the game?
