There is no way this is the huge announcement. This is probably an add-on to 2k13. The big announcement probably has something to do with Michael Jordan.

I respect your opinion in this case, I just happen to have a different one. I love variation in music and I think nearly any genre can complement basketball when used in the correct fashion. And of course, everyone will have different interpretations of what good music may be. That's kind of why I like 2K's route in the past, they'd offer some pop rap, some underground, some Indie, etc. It gave players an opportunity to find something suitable to what they liked, as opposed to going with one genre and saying, "Good luck! Hope you like it!"

Oh good call. I'll be curious to see how this works out. Will it be a situation like Dan the Automator's a few years ago where he just had a hand in many of the tracks on 2K's game? This will likely be an unpopular opinion, but I'm only lukewarm on Jay-Z as a whole.

2k6 soundtrack was FIRE!!!!!! It hasnt been that good since..

lol its about time 2k get a good soundtrack... i mean their soundtrack has been garbage for as long as i can remember live been killin them ... but if most of the songs on their by jay-z than that would be great...

NBA 2K7's soundtrack was their best soundtrack

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the big announcement and since it came out of left field I wouldn't be mad....as long as the issues from the past 2k games are addressed I'm cool. Come on one of the biggest artists in the world is Executive producing your soundtrack..Thats whats up!

It's 2k13 gameplay. If you take a look, griffin Hair / face is different than what it is in 2k12
