I'm only asking because it seems like every time I try a PA pass, I get sacked 2-3 second after the snap and I literally have no time to throw the ball. I'm playing on AA, but this is ridiculous. It happens. Every. Single. Time. It's really annoying.

That's the thing. I'm a run first offense, but it seems like every single time I try and break out the PA, a random lineman will just run through and sack my QB literally 2-3 seconds after the snap. It's getting to the point where I'm abandoning the PA.NCAA 14 - Eastern Michigan Eagles

Hmm, check your o-line ratings, if they are bad at blocking that won't help, that or adjust sliders, I use default AA for PBK and CPU Break block and I only get sacked 1-4 times a game behind Massachusetts line.

PA is absolutely not useless.
I've had some long touchdowns going over the top on play action.

Make sure the CPU isn't "jumping the snap" when you hike the ball. Mix up your snap count.Currently playing FIFA 2013 & DOTA 2 ( PC )

You can hold RT while the play action is going on to pass quicker. I've done this and have avoided a lot of sacks.Comment

Try shifting your line to the blitzing side, this has helped me with PA. Also, use it more when it says setupComment

Play action is effective, but you are hit and miss when you do run it. So you already know you gotta first establish the run, but you also need to take focus on mainly one target when you do run it.

PA rollouts work pretty well. They give you an extra second to pass to your hot receiver, and allows mobile QBs open field to run.Comment
