Then don't get the uniforms. You have a choice. Just like everyone had a choice wether or not to buy NCAA 13. Like apostle said, do any other sports game update uniforms via DLC? None that I know of. However, I could be wrong. If you don't want to spend extra money, then dnt get the OPTIONAL UNIFORMS that will be available for purchase by EA. It really is That simple. They are not forcing you to buy anything.

This thread has gotten off topic imo. I think this is a move in the right direction. Sure I would like new uniforms to be free like everyone else, but in todays age that is unlikely for any game. I would be interesting to be able to use a paid downloaded uniform for any team just have it switch to the teams color scheme. Just some food for thought.

with all the team uniforms already in them. That would have been the case for ncaa too but they had to wait until teams revealed them. In essence those uniforms are already coded and made up so they arent doing some spectacular thing like adding brand new uniforms every week.

The uniforms that we have to pay for are the special uniforms that will likely only be worn once a season. Unlike ncaa mlb the show included those for free.

Ill download all the free unis i have no need for the paid ones i just dont get why guys like you get sO defensive when someone has a different point of view

For the past few years everytime a new uniform comes out midseason the masses complain that EA didnt include it in this years game and most even say they would pay to have that uniform. EA is finally giving fans the option to do just that and people are complaining.

EA just can't win with some people, no matter what they do it is wrong. It is funny thought because some of the same people who complain about paying 0.99 for a new uniform are some of the same ones who have no problem handing over $14.99 for 2 new maps in COD. If Take Two did this in NBA 2k people would be dancing in the streets and proclaiming them the sports game company of the year for their innovative ideas.

I think it's unfair to compare it to other games though when no other game has to worry about 123 teams who for the most part all seem to want new uniforms every other season.

I'm really looking forward to the store and seeing exactly what it's all about

One thing's for sure, the NCAA team better have the DLC uniforms 100% accurate (the paid ones in particular).

I can only imagine the uproar if that isn't the case.

My gosh, man. That axe you have must be pretty ground down. We get it. Personally, IGN's review makes a lot of good points but many of us still enjoy the game. Does this really belong in the Uniforms DLC thread?

Do any other sports games update uniforms DURING the season and make them available as DLC? We're not having to pay for the uniforms that EA simply missed. We'll see, but the ones for sale are going to be uniforms that are unveiled during the UPCOMING season. Anyway, your comment is void because to my knowledge, no other game has uniforms available as DLC... So you can't make a comparison there. Correct me if I'm wrong.

This is not a hard concept to understand. It's really not. You guys don't have to buy the uniforms. Take the free uniforms and call it good. If the game is so damn terrible, trade the game in and call it good. Maybe one day, the game will meet your expectations. I just find it hilarious that there are people here who are literally all over every thread throwing in their complaints that they have already repeated 600 times. We get it. This is a thread about uniforms yet a ton of game play complaints have been aired here.

The most hilarious thing here is people saying what EA is or isn't going to do... Why not let them bring in the store and see what's up then?

NBA 2k also only has to worry about 30 teams its a lot easier to keep up with 30 teams than 123 teams some of them like Oregon and Maryland which change their uniforms almost every game. With professional sports it is a lot easier to code the new uniforms in ahead of time because all of the major leagues require advanced notification before a team can unveil a new uniform and the game developers are shown these new designs before the public even sees it.

Your still stomping your feet in a thread that you have no reason to be. This is about uniforms and the option to buy them/update them. Not the gameplay, your trying to drive a parallel between two sections of the game that are congruent being that they intersect, but they are not parallel.

Presumably the uniforms are made by the art/visual designers department, it's not as if they halt all the processes just to make uniforms. Again your posts are entirely irrelevant to the form and your using a site who much like I said above, used a reviewer that didn't comprehend the game and what it's attempting to emulate.

The game has its issues, as does any game. Should Skyrim not have put out Dawnguard because it's list of bugs and exclusions could make a mini novel? They are providing an extension to their content to which some may have an interest in, spreading your impressions of the game is irrelevant to the subject matter of the thread. If you want to continually attack the game, your welcome to do so in a thread centered around impressions and I'll have to nod my head and agree to disagree since it's your opinion that the game is bad.

Last year at this time most people couldnt even finish a game let alone a dynasty, there were numerous bugs that made the game unplayable. It took EA almost three months for the major title update to fix all the problems and make the game playable. This year has been a much smoother experience. What most people dont understand is it is next to impossible to make a game of this scale with this many different variables and not have some issues. Especially when a lot of the "bugs" dont affect all users. Just like everyone of us EA's testers can play the game 1000 times and not come up with the same bug that a player experiences once. Some people have just had a personal vendetta against EA since the licensing deals. They think that EA is any different from THQ, Take Two, Ubisoft, Activision-Blizzard or any one of the other conglomerates that rule the video game world, they are all multi-billion dollar corporations looking to make a profit.

If I'm understanding it correctly, Title Update 1 will added a box on the game menu that will function as the Uniform Store, but considering the PSN Store has issues playing nice with in game stores, you will probably have to download it as DLC outside of the game.

From my understanding it will be an in game store that will be added with update. Don't know how it will work at this point.

last thing i'll say on this topic but there are a lot of people that have basically stopped playing the game until the patch comes out. You are obviously missing the point when i say that this is not the year to be charging for uniforms when they have such big issues like the CPU being unable to run the option and the game freezing. It would have been a better idea to add the uniform store this year and then next year start to charge.

I don't have a personal vendetta against EA and i couldn't care less about them having exclusive rights. I used to be a big EA supporter, when they do something good i'll give them credit. I've talked about good things they did this year but problem is the bad outweighs the good IMO so that's why i come across more negative. I just have 0 faith in the NCAA team at this point. Last year they gave us patches that ended up causing new problems in other areas.

that's the last i'll say on this and the only reason i kept replying is because of the responses towards me. My feeling is that this year they should have given us the extra uni's for free as a thank you for buying their mediocre games year after year. It doesn't impress me that they are giving us the current uniforms for free, that should be expected, especially when Ben talked about how they were working with teams to get the new uni's in there and then come release teams like Mizzou & Rutgers still have their old unis and a team like Washington is going on 3 years with the incorrect home uni.
