Re: NCAA Football 13 Free and Paid DLC Uniforms Are Coming to the Uniform Store
Look at the patch list, freezing is being addressed. Again, your argument is based off the premise that if they put in feature A (Jersey shop) they cannot do B (Work on game play).last thing i'll say on this topic but there are a lot of people that have basically stopped playing the game until the patch comes out. You are obviously missing the point when i say that this is not the year to be charging for uniforms when they have such big issues like the CPU being unable to run the option and the game freezing. It would have been a better idea to add the uniform store this year and then next year start to charge.
They do work integrated, but at the same time, a graphic designer won't work on coding, where as a coding expert probably wouldn't be doing the graphics. Basic economics principle of comparative advantage, it is extremely unlikely that the whole team only works on one individual project.
Coming to the conclusion, for the third time that the argument is redundant, it's based off assumptions rather than absolutes. Not attacking you as a person, that's not my place or intentions, just stating that there is a time and place for everything, and this thread is not the place to put out your impressions of the game, positive or negative.Bulls|Bears|Cubs| Blackhawks|Huskies|Horned Frogs|

I love it. Pure gaming extortion...."Florida State, the only FBS Division-1 school to finish consecutively in the AP top 5 poll for 14 years. This is a record that no other collegiate football team will ever remotely come close to accomplishing again."

Got the update - two separate downloads - where's the store?
Also, why do people have a problem with this???Comment

It higher up in the thread. First post to be exact. The store will come with the second patch later in August.
As for why folks have a problem with it is because they don't want to pay for uniforms that should have been included in the first place. I also think people are upset because it hasn't been made clear which uniforms will be free and which ones you will have to pay for.Texas A&M Aggies

Uni store doesn't come until Patch 2, in late August.
C'mon, Bear Down, I actually liked Sparky. At least he was unique, as opposed to the Seminole spear rip-off the Scum Devils sport nowAlumnus:

EA hasn't provided a specific list, but we do have a good working knowledge of how this will work.It higher up in the thread. First post to be exact. The store will come with the second patch later in August.

New default uni's, as well as corrected versions of existing uni's, will be made available for free in one or more dlc packs.
The stuff we're going to have to pay for are the one-offs - '12 Pro Combats, '12 Wounded Warrior uni's, throwbacks, etc..Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Free and Paid DLC Uniforms Are Coming to the Uniform Store
I'm surprised at the outrage on this, to be honest.
People will pay for boosts for their player (NHL series), map packs, weapon skins, extra costumes, but when EA says we need to pay for jerseys people are outraged?
I just don't get it. Welcome to gaming where microtransactions will be in EVERY game. DLC is just another way for the company to make some money. I'm surprised they haven't done this sooner.
I think we should be grateful that we're getting a uniform store because past iterations of the game haven't had current uniforms in game and EA basically said "oh well". Seems this year they actually give a crap or two.
I'll get the free uniforms and I'll hand select the paid ones, like I do with every game's DLC.

Do tell me I do not need the damn Season Pass for uniforms, as an offline only player that would be a deal breaker. Believe me as a Mizzou fan it is irritating that I have to see the Block M and old jersey every game for the first X years of my dynasty.Just Win Baby!!Comment

I liked Sparky a lot more than I like the stupid pitchfork, that the original design was drawn by a former Disney employee (who also designed Stanford's old Indian logo) isn't relevant.
Sorry I'm not so blindly against the Devils than you are, but then again I didn't go to UA.Alumnus:
