Headset issue, cutting in and out when talking

Anyone having issues with headsets? When I play my one buddy, it constantly cuts in and out, and it's hard to understand him, same with me when I talk. The connection to the game is flawless but I was wondering if anyone else was having any issues when using their headsets.

    Thanks!

    Try 'Private Chat'.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this isn't because of NCAA 13....

I'll have to try it with another person tonight and see if it it's just my buddy. uPnP is enabled and I'm Nat 2, so it could be just his, having him check. Thanks for the posts guys.

EA always has terrible mic-chats during game. It took them about 4 years to finally straighten it out with the NHL series. It use to be if you only had two or three people on the mic, everyone was breaking up. Finally fixed it for NHL 12.

It happens to me and my buddy as well in NCAA 13. We can chat fine in NHL 12 and switch to play a game of NCAA and every other word is cutting out.

Ncaa is the only game where I can't understand the other person talking and vice versa, if I'm playing somebody I know I usually just end up calling them and putting it on speaker if we really want to talk.

Not if you're using party chat on Xbox live.. Lol. That's ran by Microsoft. Thus why you can still talk to them when you exit your current game..

If you're playing your buddy, get them in party chat or private chat on PS3. If it's some random guy, don't talk to them, who cares.

Yeah, his uPnP is enabled and NAT2, and private chat works fine, figures it's the game.

PS3 doesn't have private chat guys. It's one of my pet peeves with the console. So unless you're on Xbox you're SOL.

                      Headset issues

I've never had any issues with headsets but this year it seems my headset cuts in & out during game play. A buddy of mine insist it's the server but I just can't believe it. Is this an actual bug or could my practically new headset be going bad? Your input is appreciated.
