...is very simple. When your opponent pauses the game DO NOT begin the countdown to return to the game. Wait your opponent out until they begin the countdown THEN "immediatly" return to the game. You're welcome. Have a nice day.

It works. Trust me. This same glitch began a few years ago in NCAA 11. It was eventually fixed by EA but now it's back in NCAA 13. Same counter that worked then works now. Together we can stop these pathetic cheaters and laugh at there failed attempts to avoid a loss.Comment

Right - this has been the case.
But - there is still no counter for IP Booting.. and never will be. The only counter would be that there needs to be STRICT consequences. Bans, fines, etc.Comment

"IP Booting" is not nearly as a relavent concern as the disconcect glitch. Mainly because not many people actually know how to IP Boot. However, there seems to be a rediculous amount of people who know how to disconect glitch. So hopefully this thread will help most of the NCAA 13 online ranked gaming comunity properly defend against the rediculousness of the disconect glitch until EA finally decides to fix the issue as they did in NCAA 11 for this same exact glitch.Last edited by Sharpcr; 08-02-2012, 01:26 PM.Comment

The problem is, IP booting is indefensible - You can't patch that. That's why if EA could somehow catch people doing it, they would need severe penalties to stop people from doing it. Right this second you could go to youtube and learn how to IP boot. Scumbags.
I suggest that there be a hub for users to submit videos that incur "questionable disconnections". Then EA could look and see... wow - this person has been cited 5 times for "questionable disconnections" and his record is 900-2... hmmm.... let's kick him off XBL. Once the community found out that EA is actually taking action, then things like that will become obsolete. You're right. There may never be a way to defend against IP Booting. But there is a solid way to defend against the disconect glitch. That's what this whole thread is about. Yes it does. I've done it many times in NCAA 11 and NCAA 13 against people who have attempted the disconect glitch. When your opponent begins the countdown you have to resume the game immediatly and it will work every time.Last edited by Sharpcr; 08-02-2012, 05:27 PM.Comment
