First of all, the patch at least fixed the freezing issues that I had with Dynasty, but when's the gameplay patch and the patch for coach trust coming out?

They said late August for the gameplay patch and coach trust is supposed to be addressed in the tuner that released yesterday.

Face it, there is a serious issue with the game.

FACT is xbox 4gb systems have a big issue with games freezing,it was a simple question. It is a cut rate system that cannot handle certain processing... Didn't say it was xbox fault chill. It may very well be something on the game...

Are you seriously a representative of EA Sports? I'm getting rid of NCAA tonight and cancelling my Madden pre-order.

Anyone throwing an inordinate amount of INT's? Every thing I throw that would normally be deflected, dropped or bobbled by the D is picked. Through 5 INT's in one game.

I'm using custom sliders too.

I had 11 combined INTs last night. Both QBs rated 90+.

I still haven't been prompted for the patch (or tuner 2 for that matter, DL'd Tuner 1 today)... Is there anything I can do for the rest? I don't know why I'm not being prompted.

I don't know if it's an odd coincidence, but as soon as I download the 2nd Tuner today, and play a game at Rutgers, like I have done nearly a 100 times so far; this happens.

ncaa 09 i believe, maybe 08 had major issues with xbox getting rrod. stimmed from a certain disc reader and one of the manufacturers of disc. i know you could send you disc into EA and swap but it had to do with a certain reader. so things like a certain xbox or disc can cause issues. that is not far fetched. ea or xbox never owned up on the all the xboxs busting but they did recognize the prob.

a few other thing in the past that has caused freezed or fixed freezes for NCAA.

turning ticker off (not sure if still a option)
Dont be connected online when playing
use a hardline when playing online
turn off espn updates
dont use custom sounds
turn commentators off
download disc to hard drive
if you have limited room on HD it can cause probs (idk why but was a issue in past)
dedicate your router if your wireless and playing online. consistency spikes can cause issues and freezes. this is a big prob with other games also

for me getting a new xbox and hardlining it fixed all my issues from the last few years. i feel my issues were from being online while playing. like alot of you in years past i would get very frustrated with this. but this year i use custom sounds, custom playbook, formation subs, coaching changes, espn ticker, dynasty ticker, named roster and really anything because im having no issues at all. the only spot I freeze and i can replicate it 100% of the time is when i go to online dynasty and pick new coach (like your starting a new dynasty) and put your cursur over the new coach option and just sit there. about 5 to 10 seconds later it freezes. other than that i havent had one and even though im not head to head online im always online. so maybe theres hope, just hang in and i would try hardlining xbox if you can.

That is extreme. I think I will take a refund at this point instead of waiting for them to fix the game.

I didn't say it was at fault... I just asked what system and model. There are ps3 freezing as well pre patch but I haven't seen many post patch. Just trying to get more info and find out why. Out of 4 online dynasties with max users in each I we have yet to have a user have a game freeze but in 3 for 360 we have had 3 users with freezing pre patch.... All with the 4GB version that released at Christmas. Small limit sample yes... But none the less it may be an issue.

4GB systems had freezing problems with:

Skyrim (so did many ps3 versions if your hard drive had a lot of stuff on it)
MW3
Madden 12
NCAA 13

Downloaded newest tuner. I left the first one alone. 3 games in, CPU blocked a punt for the first time in about 6 years. Best part was that it wasn't a backed up in the end zone block. The punter had the normal number of yards. GT put on the punt block. I was in normal protection and their two outside guys got there.

Through a season in dynasty I had a CPU controlled player block a FG and the CPU block a punt of mine. There is a small chance they adjusted the Special Teams blocking enough in '13 to where we would see a block or two every once in a while. Works for me, if true.

I havn't been prompted to download the 2nd update either. Maybe its a timezone thing I'm EST. Gmt -5 (I think thats how you put it lol) and I give EA cudos. I know its a lot wrong. But I commend them for updating the leaderboards, coach trust, and all other things. Im gonna be patient and everything but yo, my QB lost 200 points for an int and gained like 50 for a 100 yd TD. So glad they SUPPOSEDLY fixed this
