Flacco at 95 has the same throwing power as Ryan Perriloux, Tavaris Jackson, Jake Locker, RGIII, and Jerrod Johnson. I don't think so. I've seen Jake Locker throw in person. He's got a nice arm, but he doesn't have the hose that Flacco does.

Also they gave Brady a 96 and Freeman a 97 THP while Flacco is a 95. Questionable at best.

I agree that Flacco got shafted on THP a little bit, but Brady and Freeman both have very strong arms.

Phew. I was expecting Freeman to be a lot worse because of how rough his season was last year.

Not surprised the best rookie of all time (arguably) is rated worse than the new crop of rookies. Not sure why Eli, Big Ben, & Hassekback got crazy ratings.

I agree that Flacco got shafted on THP a little bit, but Brady and Freeman both have very strong arms.

You know what's funny, for the longest time I thought they had Brady's arm underrated when they had him stuck at 92 THP. Now, every since the 50 TD season when they bumped him up to 99 THP, I think they've been overrating him.

And Freeman, I've been high in him since K. State, I think he's got a huge arm, but I never saw 97 THP. I always saw more the 95 range where they have Flacco. Just my opinion.

I always thought Brady's arm was overrated and that he was more of just an accurate QB, but man, watching him play is just scary. He doesn't look like he even tries. He casually steps into a throw and it comes out like a rocket right on the money. It's incredible.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YEAH! I'm about to get busy with Luck in our online franchise. After that catch he had last season at Stanford they even gave him some nice receiving ratings. Colts!

Rookie QBs shouldn't be rated in the mid 80s until they prove it on the field. With roster updates available every week during the season, it shouldn't be a big deal.

Brady probably has to have a stronger THP to keep his OVR high.

It's understandable that people are in a tizzy about the ratings BUT IF AWR and DPP were tuned well, this stuff would be secondary, as it should be. Physical talent and skill sets are at a premium in the NFL but it's the mental focus and consistency that sets players apart.

I am not suggesting that AWR and DPP are tuned well in M13 because I don't know, just saying if they were, it would be the proper equalizer to the ratings. So those bothered by Luck or whatever Rookie coming in with higher physical and/or skill ratings than existing players, it's the AWR and DPP of those existing players in comparison to those Rookies that should allow them to still perform better on the field until those Rookies have proven themselves.

The problem with waiting until the roookies "prove" they deserve that is that people who play with those teams that are expecting them to be good, with no edits, we would have to wait until donny releases the new update through the mid-end of the season which by then I would already be deep into my franchise.

But that is my opinion on why it is done that way.
