I know that you can use practice mode to attempt certain scenarios to gain XP each week, but I was just curious if we know if the AI does this too? If not, it could give human-controlled teams an unfair advantage as they will be able to accumulate XP quicker. But hopefully it's been implemented so that AI controlled teams also do it.

Connected Careers - Practice Mode
This is a pretty specific question, but does anyone know if computer-controlled teams/coaches will be using practice mode as well?

Re: Connected Careers - Practice Mode
I would think the CPU does practice because from looking at this CC video, it seems that practice is always either manually done or simulated, not skipped. So I presume when simulating the team AI decides what type of practice to undergo. This is a pretty specific question, but does anyone know if computer-controlled teams/coaches will be using practice mode as well?

Re: Connected Careers - Practice Mode
speaking of practice mode, it needs revamping. I am tired of praticing in game uniforms and the Qb being hit like its a real game. I would like to see them in shorts shoulder pads and helments, no tackling just touch, and the Qb wearing a red jersey. Is that to much to ask.Comment

Neat idea, you should add that to the GameChanger Ideas Site...Follow on Twitter: @TheBIGDOOKYComment

I don't know. I personally liked because I could test out players that are better than the others and overall just take the time to get into game mode if I haven't played in a while.Comment

Thanks, that looks about right. Glad to see EA didn't overlook something simple like that.Comment

Re: Connected Careers - Practice Mode
That would be a nice touch but that doesn't bother me so much considering teams sometimes go full pads in practice. I really wish they had added practice injuries because that a realistic risk/reward to that mode. Players that wanted to run a full practice to max out XP gained opposed to just picking out a few scenarios to target, should be at greater risk for injuries simply due to putting in more work.speaking of practice mode, it needs revamping. Injuries in the game can be turned off, I don't really understand why they didn't provide an option for practice injuries.Comment

No but I can name a few dozen things needed before practice jerseys imospeaking of practice mode, it needs revamping. Re: Connected Careers - Practice Mode
Hey, I know this is kind of an old thread, but for those of you playing the game now, do you still get some amount of xp if you simulate practice? I've noticed that players gain xp during practice as well as games. Just wondering if this happens when you simulate. Thanks.Comment

Re: Connected Careers - Practice Mode
Considering practice makes little to no sense, I would agree!
Easier challenges giving more XP than hard for starters!
For superstar, pretty awesome to dominate a practice but get no XP because their super simmed side of things causes you to lose the scenario.
Practice should be a change of pace anyways, team drills (previous madden) or working on specific plays (which was in head coach i believe). Playing regular football is already done enough i think.
