ahhh those were the days of field degradation...even if it was a bit exaggerated having every player get that dirty but still it was actually fun. Though last year it was alright looked more realistic when it came to grass stains and such but playing in the rain/snow would still have the players jerseys SPOTLESS. I hated that, especially since almost every first year franchise in 12' the first couple games always ended up raining.

field and uniform degradation was perfect in Madden 12 and I expect it to be the same in 13. When do you ever see an NFL field get completely torn up or a NFL players uniforms become that dirty with today field technology? It is perfect how it is and it should not be touched.

First off it is very rare to see fields get as bad as they look i n the two pictures you provided but still even with it that bad the uniforms aren't excessively dirty. Oh and Pittsburgh has always had field problems.

I remember i think in '08 you would actually see the QB's arms get dirty and such and it looked like scratches too

Agreed. Madden 12 was close to perfect. I wouldn't mind to see a really muddy game every once in awhile, but those should be very few and very far between. I would like to see more splashes though.
