Bobbled Snaps.
Just wondering if anyone had ever had any bobbled or dropped snaps in the game before? Whether it be the QB fumbling it on the handoff either from the line or shotgun, or the center just messing up the snap on his end. I just can't recall any single time that I've seen that happen in either NCAA or Madden and was thinking how cool it would be if those were in the game. Y'know if it's like a pressure situation and it's a QB sneak on the one yard line and you get a QB that gets happy hands and just drops the ball. Or some miscommunication between the QB and the HB. E Or if the weather is bad, and the field is wet so it could be dropped in that way. Etc etc. Anyways. It's probably a dumb question because I don't think it's in the game. But I couldn't find anything from EA directly saying that it wasn't possible in the game. Try to not to make fun of me too much if this is a stupid question. Hahaha. :PTags: None -

While we in the sim community (a small minority) would love to see stuff like this, those not in the sim community (the vast majority) hate stuff like this since it's not in their control.Just wondering if anyone had ever had any bobbled or dropped snaps in the game before? Re: Bobbled Snaps.
Yeah.. I think it'd be a nice addition to the game but I can understand how it would alienate half their fanbase.. Considering most people that play this game probably aren't very sim.. Sigh.Comment

Re: Bobbled Snaps.
Sadly, that's not in the game. Closest thing resembling bobbled snaps was a few years ago, snaps out of the shotgun would go high, making the QB jump, but he always caught it. Would be great if it was in the game though.Comment

Re: Bobbled Snaps.
Simple solution to make everyone happy. Make an option to turn bobbled snaps off. Being on the sim side I would love to see them in the game. Crazy snaps were one of the things I loved about another football game that I won't mention the name of in this thread.MLB the Show - Cubs

Re: Bobbled Snaps.
The only thing I ever got close to on a bobbled snap on 13 was I had the D hit me before I could even do a simple hand off up the gut but thats about it really. It would be nice to have something like that in the game as it give it a more real feel to it.NCAA 13 Dynasty:

Re: Bobbled Snaps.
I would really like to see some bad snaps on FGs and punts. It would be nice to actually have long snappers mean something.Comment

Re: Bobbled Snaps.
Yeah. That would be awesome. I don't think it'd be that hard to do, would it?Comment

Re: Bobbled Snaps.
While us in the sim community would love it, I'd be hesitant with EA adding it because knowing them with adding something new to the game.. we'd be sure to see a bad snap every other play.--

Yeah, but not a big deal if it is something that can be turned off.MLB the Show - Cubs

Re: Bobbled Snaps.
It is a big deal because for those who want it in the game, it would drastically effect the game play. We shouldn't have to turn something off because they wouldn't know how to implement it properly.--

Re: Bobbled Snaps.
personally, I'd like to see players have snap ratings. They could divide them up into under center snap (UCS), shot gun snap (SS), and long snap (LS) ratings. The lower the rating, the more likely that there will be a bad snap (obviously). Im not even necessarily saying dropped snaps. But bad snaps, on any play, can affect timing, and make or break the play. It'd be better to have ratings than to have random bad snaps. Plus it'd make our choices of long snappers less random. Plus, it'd have an effect on moving tackles or guards to play center because we'd have to look at their ratingsLast edited by Ky3217; 08-05-2012, 07:02 PM.TOUCHDOWN MSU!!!

Re: Bobbled Snaps.
Yeah, I am one of the people that want it in the game. Who knows how they would implement the feature. At least if they make an on-off option the tourney players will be happy and if the feature is broke we would be able to turn it off. Unfortunately, I don't see EA adding this to the game anyway.MLB the Show - Cubs

Re: Bobbled Snaps.
EA even gets bashed in hypothetical situations, lol.
It's not a matter of you "have to" turn it off... If they did this, they listened to the community and gave them something they wanted, and even gave the community the option to be able turn it off if it doesn't work correctly right away. Sheesh.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

it would be very interesting because i have a true freshman starting at C and every snap is the same and it should really be like what florida went through a few years back!6'4 220
