I think LeBron is the most probable candidate. Think about it. LeBron wins his first NBA Title. Don't you think 2k would've gone after him? Unless he already had Live booked.

If not LeBron, who else would it be?

Lebron hasnt been on a cover because as rock just said, he required alot and asked for alot beyond just money

I like it. Hope it's not a rumor or someone playing around on Photoshop just to pick our interests. Lebron cover would be a good counter to 2K.

It is a little suspect. The theme with EA Sports covers this year is an athlete and a gray background of his team's venue (Madden 13 background is Detroit, Ford Field, NHL 13 is Philly, Wells Fargo Center, FIFA 13 is Camp Nou, home of Barcelona FC). If it's to gauge our interests, ok, but I doubt this would be the official cover.

If this cover is true and the game does turn out to underwhelm from a gameplay perspective I hope noone buys it. EA shouldn't be rewarded based on flash if the game turns out bad.

LeBron is no fool when it comes to marketing, so if he put his name on this game it has to be solid. That's if he is on the cover.

Come on seriously! Lebron isn't making the game. I have seen garbage games with huge marketing stars on the cover. Him on the cover is doing what it's suppose to do, make fans interested.

For Lebron, after the situation with Elite why would he put himself on something completely unproven, even if they offered him millions.

This NBA Live thing is very intriguing as to if the game is coming out or not. But a Lebron cover seems like a very likely thing EA would do. I hope this game does come out so I can see how it plays compared to 2K and also to see how NBA Live has improved from NBA Live 10.

LeBron's name alone will sell copies of this game, even if it's 10 stick figures shooting an orange circle.

Be careful what circles you say that in. Three guys with bigger names than LeBron's were on a cover or two recently that some people decided meant nothing to game sales.
