It'd be on YouTube if there was one. They are very under wraps this year, it's worrisome but it can be good news that they are just making sure every thing works properly this year...but we'll never know until at least the demo I guess.

Re: Madden NFL 13 Demo NOT Coming Tomorrow
I really think that's reading too much into all of this because they have been releasing video with other things. For example the recent Top RBs vote has video with it that clearly shows Infinity at work. If anything I would think they might be saving the official EA retail game play for after people get to "feel" the Infinity engine. According to those that have played it, even people at E3, that's when the impact of the new engine can truly be appreciated.
Guess we will find out next Tuesday.Comment

No it usually is due to the time it takes to get it ready and have it go through 1st party. The later they release the demo... The further along the game will be on the version they build the demo with. Yes it will have the infinity engine.

Honestly... I'm not going to download the demo. Seriously. The funny thing is if the demo is phenomenal there will be people touting that as a good sign for the retail but if it's meh, some of those same people will be saying "it's just a demo" and vice versa.
I don't put much stock in it either way other than trying to point out what I feel needs to be improved hopefully before release and what seems solid. That's why I think it's a wasted opportunity to release the demo so close to the retail release. An early demo seems like a great way to get a jump on inevitable issues that can be easily caught by the masses, using the demo like a beta test. Of course the demo will have issues so it seems like a good idea to me to release it early and make it about finding/reporting those issues than just about sampling the game play.

Sorry man, that wasn't my intention. I'm just not a big demo guy unless it unlocks something I would use. But honestly I think this demo will be the closest to retail in many areas that we have ever seen.Originally posted by at23steelersSorry, I think your a good poster. But, I hate these comments, since you're a GC. I know you didn't try to rub it in. But lets be honest: you've played a more recent version of Madden 13 already, so you're right there's really no reason for you to play it. And, more importantly, you'll probably get the full game before we even have the chance to download the demo. It just rubbed me the wrong way a little, but it's no big FN deal!
To the people who say E3 for gameplay videos, half the videos seem in super speed. And for someone who values commentary, it's sure annoying to try to pick up what they're saying above the noise. Just saying!

Re: Madden NFL 13 Demo NOT Coming Tomorrow
I would appreciate a retail-esque demo more than anything, actually. I think there's too much we all want to know that wouldn't be figured out playing two teams in one exhibition game.I'm still playing NCAA 14 and Madden 25...and you know, it's alright.

Yeah I agree... That's my main concern right now anyways.Originally posted by at23steelersThat's what I figured, because you're a good dude from what I can tell. I agree, demos have their purpose, but don't tell the whole picture. A HUGE upgrade in Madden won't even be touched in the demo for people on the fence: CCM.

The waiting continues.....[/QUOTE
Lmao!...but my reaction was more like "CUFF!!!", unedited and no Snoop Lion image in my head.
I was hoping for an early release like 10's demo was (wasn't it, at least with that preorder deally at Game Stop??) but then I figured since there was no week before notice, at the very least, that we could be lookin at the ole 2weeks prior deally. And this woulda been the perfect week to release it since preseason kicked off yesterday. Wouldn't be surprised if it got snuck in there for tomorrow. I can hope, can't I?Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....Comment

If theres sliders/Game Speed/Thresh Hold
Then I will.....
I'll be able to gauge whether I want to even think about stomaching another year of Super DTs N' Patty Cake or Zig Zagigng
If thats still running rampart+The loss of features that I value in CC.....I might as well stick with 12Here We Go Steelers!!! Here We Go!!!
My CFB Teams: Marshall..WVU-Go Herd/Eeers!!!

Re: Madden NFL 13 Demo NOT Coming Tomorrow
When does the ratings stuff end?
I figure once all that's through, we'll get some details on the demo. Teams and such.
Hopefully it is like last year with 5-minute quarters but commentary is stripped out.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 13 Demo NOT Coming Tomorrow
I appreciate that, but I've seen these videos the moment they came out, which is roughly going on two months ago now. From what I understand, there have been tweaks and improvements to the game engine and fluidity since that E3 build...and I would like to see what a recent build of the game has to offer in some "Raw gameplay footage."Here's two raw gameplay videos from E3. They're both about ten minutes long.

Not too bothered. Never play demos as it only serves to frustrate in my opinion. If I was a developer I would contemplate not even releasing to the masses.Support: Indianapolis Colts - LA Lakers - Chelsea FC - Ferrari F1Comment

Re: Madden NFL 13 Demo NOT Coming Tomorrow
That's how I feel too. If I was a Publisher and I had a game that was under the radar and I thought that the game could get a nice buzz from a demo then I would probably release one. For any million plus selling AAA title, I wouldn't.
Gamers would be cussing me out, and cooking up all kinds of conspiracy theories, but I'd be a cocky SOB. Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 13 Demo NOT Coming Tomorrow
Interesting. I figure with all the big reveals they're having, they'd have one for the demo as well. I guess it'll just be a tweet or something.Comment
