The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Anyone else experience this? This just started happening AFTER the patch and tuner. Its not happening to me but the CPU team is getting punished by it. As soon as the RB touches the ball before he makes his stutter step, the play is whistled dead in the backfield.
Re: Counter play being whistled dead in the backfield
It was happening on release day too. Not just after this patch. It's just the first time you've seen it. Basically what is happening is that the RB is taking too hard of a corner and ends up putting his knee on the turf after the ball is handed off. It's an annoying bug, I call it a bug even though this COULD and DOES happen in real life because in real life it only happens probably once a season by some random bad FBS team or FCS team. But yes, it has happened to me as well as others that I've seen posting on here. It's annoying and has been happening here and there since release and still hasn't been addressed but it's just something we have to deal with for now.
Re: Counter play being whistled dead in the backfield
Got it. I'm honestly not one to drag names through the mud and I do realize all games have bugs, but I'm really starting to think that EA went the cheap route when hiring coders/designers for the NCAA side of the house as some of these quirks are just getting ridiculous.
Do other sports games have nutty **** like this happen? If so, I'll bite my tongue for that last paragraph I typed. If not, yea I'm starting to think that these guys just aren't very precise with what they're hired to do man.
