Apparently 68 of the 113 Quarterbacks throw on the run equally the same.

Not sure if anyone has said that yet, but that's the big thing I noticed.

I can't believe no one has commented on this one yet!

I thought this would have sent the community into a rage.

Personally, this threw me into a fit of "why am I not surprised"?

um no...As a Raiders fan I can't stand Tebow I think he is one of the most overrated players in sometime. Brady Quinn can't tie his shoes, Brady Quin can't tie any one shoes. Quinn is so bad I still think JaMarcus Russell is better. Tebow accomplished more in two game than Quinn has his whole career, Not that He won those game anymore's than the defense or Willis but I don't think Quinn could have managed those games good enough to win.

Once you said JaMarcus Russell was better you lost all credability. One of these days Quinn will get his chance and start lightin' D's up and i'll just sit back and laugh. Been my dude since Notre Dame and i still got my faith in him

I'm ok with Andy Dalton's overall rating. I think he's a solid quarterback (who will probably have a worse 2nd year than rookie year). But he isn't a stud...isn't elite, and probably never will be. But one thing he is, is accurate. He doesn't have a cannon but he knows where to throw the ball. Now, AJ Green really helped make him look better than I think he actually is, but his accuracy seems a little too low to me. ESPECIALLY, when you compare it to Tebow. I'm sorry if this has been said, and I'm sorry if this is obvious but Tebow's throwing accuracy is wayyyy too high.

EDIT: Sorry I failed to realize that was Deep ball accuracy. In that case, I think 81 is too high for Dalton...he doesn't throw it deep unless he throws a jump ball to AJ Green who usually makes the play because he's a beast.

I do have a serious question. What happens between the end of the season and the release of Madden to make some people ratings go up while others go down?

For example Cam Newton. What did he do to make his ratings drop so much?

Cause RG3 is the next big thing, so they have to make him better. I don't get it either. I like RG3 but he played in the Big 12 and Cam played in SEC. Cam shatters NFL rookie records and yet get disrespected for RG3...

stafford deep accuracy is a low ball, and his awareness is a joke... 5,000 yards, didn't throw picks till he messed up his hand

Just about everybody's Throwing Power is within the 80s - high 90s...that's not a very big gap at all especially including the back-ups, that is why nobody really feels that different and real threats aren't exactly as threatening. That is one of the many ratings they always seem to be afraid to put some type of gap in.

They are just too lenient. Like with T. Jack, sure he has power in his arm but it's not quite elite enough to give him a 95. Colt McCoy has a 81 THP, they shouldn't be afraid to hand him a 73 or so there. They just don't use they're own rating system appropriately. It's Maddening! lol

Those following training camps around the league are hearing Robert Griffin III is struggling somewhat (holding on to the ball too long, making bad coverage reads).

I am not saying Cousins is his equal, I just don't think the talent gap is 11 points different overall. The Skins' got a steal in Cousins and whilst I could go on as to why I believe it was a mistake to draft him, I think he is a little closer than roster editors have rated him.

Just my opinion.

We still think the talent gap between RGIII and Cousins is as dramatic as the roster gurus at Madden HQ may lead us to believe after today? I didn't earlier in this thread, today (pre-season or not) showed Cousins is a NFL QB who will put unwanted pressure on RGIII in his rookie season.

Will we be able to change ratings inside of CC? If so I'm going to have to change Drew Brees's deep ball accuracy because it's way better than 84. What do you think his deep ball accuracy should be, Mid 90's?

Why was Phillip Rivers given the benefit of the doubt?

He finished Madden 12 with a 91 OVR after throwing a career high 20 interceptions. Then fast forward to Madden 13 and he's a 92 OVR... did I miss something? This preseason he has completed 16 of 20 passes, out of his 4 incompletions... 3 of them are interceptions, tying him for the most interceptions thrown this preseason! This guy hasn't changed a bit! Drop him down to 89 where he belongs, Romo should be ahead of this guy.
