Re: Madden NFL 13 Video - Gameplay with Kinect
Don't know if anybody else realized this but Stephan Jackson & the LB for the Browns had on the new cleats they were talking about that they added..
Even tho it really doesnt matter since we can't edit rosters

Re: Madden NFL 13 Video - Gameplay with Kinect
They do have an odd balance. I let my 3 yr old nephew play and he can keep up with the CPU while pressing every button on the controller and not even looking at the TV. That isn't hyperbole BTW.
But also i can get overwhelmed with Pre-play adjustments if I take a few months off without playing and lose the controller-memory. And I've been playing since 91!
Also, I think this new engine looks unbelievably good when it is zoomed in and slow-mo.Last edited by bukktown; 08-07-2012, 04:57 PM.Comment

Hitting a WR and hitting AP are two different realities. I haven't seen much of him in the NFL either so...Comment

From looking at the Bears website, it looks like you are correct. Wright has taken Corey Graham's old number 21, now that Graham has left for the Ravens, and Wilhite is 27. Apologies for the mixup.Comment

You're giving AP too much credit! This is pure physics! AP doesn't even plant his front foot after breaking the initial tackle and gets hit while only his back foot is planted. Not only that, breaking the first tackle slows his initial momentum going forward while the DB is coming forward with full momentum.... That equals a win for the DB! If AP was able to break that tackle I'd be more upset with that because that doesn't represent true physics! He's not off balance and his momentum is still going forward. Plus, Peterson at 215lbs, is 30lbs heavier. I still don't like it, I just don't believe that hit could happen, especially with the him just standing there like that after he hits him. A hit like that, from a much smaller person into a much larger person, would at least made his momentum fly forward as he hits him. Not just stand there like he hit a small child.Comment

Also notice how AP rolls over the body of the player who's tackle he broke! AP didn't just fly off the ground.... His body took the blow and as he was going backwards he rolls over the initial tackler! Madden I'm impressed... Now show me some new gloves!!!You're giving AP too much credit! This is pure physics! Re: Madden NFL 13 Video - Gameplay with Kinect
Thats not pure physics, that tackle animation has been in the game for a while now, and its in NCAA 13. A cb could never hit AP that hard even if he was off balance. Also AP seen him coming, he would have avoided that hit some how, and the worst part about that hit is that the db did not even flinch, like AP didnt weigh nothing. You're giving AP too much credit! Re: Madden NFL 13 Video - Gameplay with Kinect
Minus that horrible looking shoulder charge animation, those tackles gave the football freak inside me a tickle

You obviously don't know physics and how a body in motion can react to an opposing force. Here's a clip of Darren Sharper hitting Kevin Faulk.Thats not pure physics, that tackle animation has been in the game for a while now, and its in NCAA 13. Kevin Faulk obviously isn't AP but AP's not Superman and he can't defy the laws of physics! If you saw the clip you notice Kevin Faulk actually catch the ball, starts to run up field, dips his shoulder, and still gets blasted.... By a DB! Kevin Faulk wasn't even breaking a tackle which would've slowed his momentum.Comment

Here's one other point. Darren Sharper is 6'2 210. Kevin Faulk is 5'8 202. Football is a game of leverage which usually means the lowest man wins. However, in this case Darren Sharper's forward momentum produced a greater force than that of the smaller (height) but more compact Kevin Faulk which results in him getting knocked off his feet. If physics had nothing to do with the hit then Kevin Faulk should've fell forward because of his center of gravity, which was also lowered when he dipped his shoulder, and not get knocked off his feet! Apparently this is real life and the principle of physics matter... Not being AP!You obviously don't know physics and how a body in motion can react to an opposing force.
