Not fabricating anything in my mind, never said game would be bomb, i said if LeBron was gonna be on the cover of this game then it couldn't be another NBA Elite. I'm sure he would do some research before putting his image on something.

Gilbert Arenas at his best was no where as marketable as LeBron is now. LeBron is already paid and makes about 40 million off endorsements a year, money alone can't be his sole reason for being on the cover (if it is him).

Gilbert Arenas would have taken any endorsement possible at that time. LeBron chooses who he wants to endorse because he is LeBron "King" James and has been dealing with business endorsements and situations since high school. He knows what he's doing.

Now I believe that if the cover really is LeBron James and he chose to put his image this game then Live 13 must have something to offer us gamers in terms of quality.

and again this is not about LeBron, this is about you wishing Live has some kind of substance which you choose to ignore even though there is no evidence to support this stance

I hope you know when people refer to "the decision" they are not primarily talking about his decision to leave cleveland for miami and play with wade and bosh. "The Decision" refers the live special aired on ESPN where he publicly announced that he would leave cleveland for miami. Its one thing for him to leave his hometown but the way he went about doing it was a terrible business decision and really hurt his public image. Not to mention the way him, wade, and bosh went on stage like they were rock stars and celebrated as if they had just won the finals. If you don't think the decision affected him negatively you must either live in miami or only associate yourself with people who are lebron james fans. The fact that the Heat are the most hated team in the league should be evidence enough that the decision hurt his image. Him winning MVP and the finals this year however is the best possible thing that could have happened to his career at this point.

I don't live in Miami and don't really know much LeBron James fans personally. But if you think that LeBron's decision special that aired on ESPN didn't draw tons of attention then your mistaken, it was the highest rated show on television that night.

In the social media age that we live in any publicity is good publicity, anyone remember "Rebeca Black - Friday" song, 36 million views on youtube, but almost every comment is negative. Whether or not people like you or hate doesn't matter, all that matters is that they're talking about you. LeBron may be hated now, but the haters just add to the fans that he already has.

Ok, you must just be skipping points. This is about LeBron, because his image holds weight in today's society, and I don't think he would put his image just anything, or on a game that's similar to NBA Elite quality wise.

IF LeBron james is on the cover of this game then I think it can't be as bad as Elite. If LeBron is not on the cover, then i think the quality of this game is still up in the air.

Exactly! The man will walk around with a shirt that has his own face on it. If LeBron is going to put his image on something he wants you to know about it. So would he put his image on NBA Live 13 if he knew it was going to be terrible? Especially when everything else he puts his image on he boasts?

I don't care how much money LeBron already has in endorsements he'll sell you a box of **** covered crackers if he's getting paid out the *** for it. That's like saying State Farm is the best insurance to have cause LeBron put his name on it. Or Hanes is the best underwear cause Jordan is a good business man. I'll let Dave Chappelle explain it better than any of us.

I don't care who is on the cover of this game, cause Durant put his stamp on that bull**** *** Elite, I seen videos of him playing it and saying how good it was and look what happened., so no person on the game will make me believe in the game. Now I am a Live fan still playing Live 10 and loving it, but I'm just saying just cause it may e Lebron don't mean ****.... I actually hate Lebron so I'm hoping it is not him..LOL. The hell kind of nonsense is this. Lebron went from being an extremely well liked athlete to the most scrutinized athlete EVER. How is that positive? The difference between lbj and rebbecca black is that nobody knew who she was so in her case "any publicity is good publicity" is true. Before the decision lebron already had all of the attention and media attention in the world, the only thing that changed was that the attention went from mostly positive to mostly negative.

Well if Live 10 was any indication to Durant of how Elite 11 would turn out them i'm sure he thought it'd be alright. But If NBA Elite 11 is any indication to LeBron of how Live 13 will turn out then i'm sure he'd wanna hold out from being a cover boy for another year.
