I don't want to play online franchise/CCM, just offline - CAN I EDIT?

I am so confused about the whole editing thing. I do not have any desire to play an online franchise or this new Connected Career Mode. I just want to play exhibition games and OFFLINE season/franchise or whatever. Please tell me I can edit equipment and jersey numbers for my purposes?

connected careers is both online and offline. within that mode there is no editing.

exhibition games, however, will allow you to use edited rosters e.t.c.

Connected Careers is the replacement mode for Franchise, Online Franchise, and Superstar (that is, the latter three modes no longer exist). You cannot take an edited roster into that mode, regardless if it is played offline or online.

Edited rosters continue to work just fine for exhibition play.

Is there going to be an offline 1 season mode maybe? Or anything besides this connected career thing?

I'm an equipment junky, gotta have wristbands and stuff right. This is really concerning

I searched, all I could find was basically "wahhh I can't edit my CCM". For people not interested in CCM, the question has most certainly not been answered.

Can we edit team schedules for online mode. Like replace a 49ers out of division team with another opponent?

I have not seen anything about editing schedules, so I'd assume no.

The NFL regular-season schedule - with regard to team matchup pairings - is determined based on a strict formula and division pairing rotation, anyhow. Schedule customization would only really be warranted for the preseason.

This sucks because I'm running as online franchise with 4 other people. We all have teams that don't face each other and I wanted to customize the schedules so we all wont be stuck playing the cpu in the regular season.

The link above proves that roster editing is not in CCM. However, I couldn't find definitive prove on whether or not you can edit player accessories and jersey numbers. I think that there has been mention of this, but I am uncertain. The quote from Steve almost confirms that you can't.

Jean Adams, Art Director for Madden NFL 13, mentioned the following, in his presentation blog, which was posted in late April.

Hmmm. I somehow doubt many gamers will be playing around much in edit player, if we can't use the edits in anything other than a Play Now session.
