I have to agree. Which may not be a bad thing. I believe we made some solid moves. We had a good draft and I think we need to give them another year or two to really mold this team the way they want and we may see something resembling a good team

Currently Tyler Thigpen is playing well enough to be #2 behind Fitzpatrick. That is how bad Vince Young is.

That doesn't surprise me one bit. But I think if they give Vince enough time to learn the offense he would be a better option than Thigpen

I could quarterback the Bills better than Thigpen. He is so bad.

I think Gailey is a good enough coach, he does fall in love with the passing game just a tad too much but if you go out and fire him well....Look how hard it was to even hire a coach in the first place! You'd have to hire someone from within and the only viable option is Dave Wannstedt who doesn't exactly have a shining record of achievement as a HC.

Anywho an off the field note, Senator Chuck Schumer of NY has a "plan" (actually from what I read it's not much of a plan) to ask the NFL to change the rules in their loan program so that the Bills can access 25 mil in order to make renovations to the Ralph.

What's wrong with giving Brad Smith a legit shot at the backup job?

I saw him play some non wildcat QB when he was a Jet, and he looked pretty solid...

He seems smart, athletic and kind of a matchup problem...

I agree that Thigpen is a waste of a roster spot and I would NOT be surprised to see VY get cut-ski...

I'll be watching here in Michigan. Only game I'm going to this year is pre-season at Detroit. I have SNFLT for the rest of the games.

I am so pumped. This video still gives me goosebumps

Watching the Redskins broadcast of the game, but I may try to go to the game in T-Dot. Tough living in D.C. rooting for an outside team with no Sunday Ticket.

Bah, the game was blacked out. I'll have to watch the replay tomorrow. It looks like the defense was very good and looking at the stats they used Vince Young in a lot of running plays? Can someone that saw the game elaborate on that? Were they designed runs or was he scrambling to save his life type of runs?

Defense was stout/Redskins QB's not named Griffin III were awful. Defensive starters never pressured RGIII in the pocket though. Neither offense looked good. VY got most of his yards scrambling not designed QB runs. Matter of fact, Brad Smith finished the game as your QB. They black out pre-season games. Wow that is shameful. It was a very forgettable game. One play that did stand out to me (which you probably wont care about) Redskins MLB Perry Riley was able to run step for step with Stevie Johnson on one pass play. But there wasn't a lot of "good" football to watch.

Thanks, sounds like about 15 minutes of football for me to watch tomorrow then. I'll just watch the starters.
