Everything I wanted added to the game was added for the most part. Have to say I chuckled at the if you swear through the Kinect you may get a tech. Thats cool.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

Ok I got my question answered by reading another article. I think this one bolded explains the alley-oop better.

"X" and "A" pressed together are now used for Alley Oops which is a lot more convenient and close by each other instead of using LT and B

While it make take some getting used to, I think the change is for the better. It shouldn't take too long to learn to hold the left trigger when using the shot stick to shoot.

OK.. so if you've ever played any serial of FIFA or PES you'd know how the alley-oops would work. In fifa/pes you'd press the shoot button and pass button(just like in NBA 2K13) and he'd do a fake shot. But in NBA2K13 he would obviously do an alley-oop.

Agreed , a change for the better is well worth the adjustment .

Does Kinect pick up voice seamlessly, or like every other voice activation device is it often:

User: "Run 24 power, for Kobe"

                    Game:"Running Howard, for three"

I never liked having to chain dribbles on the same stick as my movment. So the improved rightstick dribbling is good to hear. Also the manual bounce passing and smarter passing is welcomed as well.

Things are sounding good so far. I look forward to seeing and trying them in action. But hopefully with these needed changes they wont be able to be abused too badly to become cheap.

NBA 2K. A game you know will be great & you can rest easy knowing 2K won't strip out all the important stuff to put new stuff in.

To better distinguish between the AI point guard performances in the league, Visual Concepts has added awareness differentiations. While a veteran, pass-first point guard like Jason Kidd has a 360-degree view of what’s happening around him, shoot-first point guards or less talented players will have part of the court shaded like a fog of war in strategy games.

                                For the second straight year:

These replays only trigger if the player making the dunk is wearing Nike+ Basketball shoes.
Sounds good! Only thing I can think of to make replays better now is to have replays shown right before a timeout, just like a real broadcast.

Also sounds good. I'm assuming they've upped the frequency of charges on default settings now.

Probably the highlight of the article for me. I LOVE great passes/passers and I've always wanted some type of court vision rating to be taken into account. Now I wonder if great passers will contextually have better passes chosen for them than the less-skilled? Would also like to see a pass that hits a shooter right on the numbers have a slightly higher success rate to go in than one that, say drops to his knees...But what's in right now works great for me.

To better differentiate between players, Visual Concepts has taken a page out of FIFA and Madden by introducing Signature Skills. Each player can have up to five signature skills, which cover everything from being a spot up shooter or alley-ooper on offense to being a chasedown artist or pick-pocketer on defense.

Most of the signature skills are individual traits, but some players also have skills that extend to their teammates, which Visual Concepts is calling “team auras.” A floor general will improve the play of everyone else on the court, as will a high-energy defensive specialist.
NICE! Reminds me of the "Freestyle Superstar" thing in Live but more realistic. So it seems as if great defensive bigs won't just have an impact on what they specifically do, but can raise the team's defense as a whole. This should definitely show once you substitute that certain player out.

Though they might not gain/lose skills in association, hopefully this means we can edit them to our liking. Hoping this also extends to the classic teams too, should definitely make them stand out from each other.

****, call me Rasheed Wallace then LOL. I might just get a Kinect JUST for this feature.

All in all, sounds great and this is only the tip of the iceberg...
