Re: NBA 2K13 - Some Clarity on the Control Stick
I find it very cool to see all the control options provided. This is going to be ever-so-slightly off topic, but I kind of hope the Dunk Contest has some alternate control options as well, if it truly is a Guitar Hero setup.Comment

Re: Some Clarity on the Control Stick
Thanks for the info, Beluba. I have a feeling I'll be using the shot stick occasionally, but for fast breaks and quick catch-and-shoot layups/dunks i'll probably rely on the button...for me it seems like the button will be better for quicker shots since fewer fingers are involved and there's less room for error...like when you need to quickly catch and dunk or something like that.Last edited by blues rocker; 08-10-2012, 01:47 PM.Comment

Re: Some Clarity on the Control Stick
Great call 2K, the more options you give us to set it up how we like, the more people are able to find a scheme that works for them.
Can't wait for even more details on the dribbling. There was a lot of depth in the past versions but they were too hard to pull off.Ryan Spencer

anything that gives you more control of dribbling is positive thanks for clearing this up. As long as we have defense to counter the moves im happyfollow me on twitter @crazyg84

Re: NBA 2K13 - Some Clarity on the Control Stick
will player ratings come into effect on how good players can dribble? Centers shouldnt be pulling off derrick rose dribble moves without the danger of losing the ballComment

Re: Some Clarity on the Control Stick
question for Beluba - does the hop step button work like it did in 2k11, where it could also be used for spins and step-backs? i always liked using the hop step button for step-backs in 2k11 - it always felt a bit more responsive than using the stick for step-backs.Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 - Some Clarity on the Control Stick
I dont see the problem here. As long as there is proper collision detection (hopefully the new physics bring this) then it wont be able to be abused. Its not the control scheme that made it cheesy in the pass, it was the lack of proper collision detection. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment
